Meimi announced on her twitter that she got her teeth fixed.


Made me wonder if Airi will do the same after she's left H!P.

That's good for Meimi. Don't know if Airi will get her's done too, but if she keeps modeling it might be better.

I don't expect Airi to keep modeling but nicer teeth will help pretty much no matter what. Hers aren't as bad as Meimi's though.

It's not that bad so it makes this her charm point I think. She does one of the most modeling out of H!P so it doesn't seem to be helding her back in this field.

It always looked like she modeled for a younger audience so I thought her crooked teeth appealed to them, making her look younger. If she wants to keep it up when she herself is older (and she's also nearing mid-twenties) it wouldn't fit the audience anymore. As in, she can't model for teens forever. Or at least that's what made sense in my head before.
 
But yeah, no matter what she's going to do, having fixed teeth will only help. I wonder if girls who keep their yaeba have problems with their jaw.

Speaking of which, who's got the best teeth in H!P, past or present? Off the top of my head, I'm guessing Nacchi. But only because she's the only one whose teeth come to mind and have never looked bad to me.

Fukumura has some pretty nice teeth, and I like Sayashi's although hers weren't perfect and straight. Murota Mizuki's are also really pretty.

I'm biased but I really like Haruna's teeth haha. She might have a bit of an overbite, though.
If I remember correctly she used to wear braces, too. There are some early model pictures of her with them.

This. Magazines marketed to a younger audience are not nearly as picky about their models. I've seen some models in teen Japanese magazines that I don't think could get work in literally any other publications.

I'm not sure if it was here or elsewhere but someone said that with the lack of Sayu photos, maybe she went through a dramatic change in appearance. I'm starting to think it's true!
 
But it's crazy how much I'm anticipating her event. She's keeps dragging everything out, but it makes me anticipate it more. I probably wouldn't care as much if it wasn't like this!
 
It's been 7 years, but I'm still hoping for a Kamei comeback with Sayu's return...

I'm a little worried that nothing we've learned so far suggests that Sayumi is going to deviate from her previous idol patterns in any substantial way. However, she is two years older now, and getting up there in age for an idol, so this doesn't seem like something that could be sustained for more than a short-term period. Hopefully the upcoming radio shows and/or event reports will bring better news.

Someone I know hopes that they want to hide it and make it be a surprise, but they've done this once before as a mistake and then removed it after so I know not to get my hopes up haha.

It's hard to make a definitive judgement from heavily processed photos, but she certainly looks a lot healthier after her few years of rest.
