I teared up a little bit when she was sobbing and going "It's been four years, thank you." at the end.

This song is fairly boring, but not bad by any means. What is bad is the fact that they chose to use the complete opposite from the right kind of microphone for her singing style. It highlights all the faults of her voice pretty badly. I'd definitely follow this a bit more, as long as her vocals sound better in the recording. The arrangement is the biggest draw, I suppose.

Not to rush to the defense of Yaguchi, but she said at the end "Oh my god, I was so nervous! That was bad!" before breaking down, or something to that extent according to a rough fan translation.

I know and I'm not doubting this, that's why I said I kinda expect the actual recording to be a lot better and make the song much better. Nothing against her personally, and like I said, they chose the wrong microphone to have a (nervous) idol sing into.

Well, in my opinion she did very good!!! I will definitely buy this. I'm glad that she's back on the scene with new songs, she deserves it. I look forward to seeing more of her.

Aww, Yaguchi! Poor thing was terrified. It's a nice, energetic song. She seems really grateful, she really deserves this.

Her nerves only showed in her vocals a bit. She sold the song with her stage presence fairly well. Okay, "sold" is probably too strong, but her experience as an idol was definitely helping her (as can be seen in the visible change in her face as soon as the song and her performance is ending). Or maybe it was just the spinning camera.

I can only feel enthusiasm and joy listening to Mari. She really was a jewel in the Morning Musume crown.

Wow, I didn't expect her to sing such an upbeat song. I'm not exactly sure it's suited to her voice, even if she was nervous... but I'll look forward to hear the official recording. She's a great performer anyhow and I wish I didn't hate her when I first got into Morning Musume (I missed out on alot). Now she's in my top 3 favorite MM members ever =/

I'm really not a big fan of Mari's voice in general outside of early-MM and early-Tanpopo, but the song itself is kind of catchy. The whole time I was listening though, all I could think was "See H!P, mature does not have to mean slow, dragging ballad!"

Being an avid Mari fan for years, I was rather disappointed with the song they chose for her. I agree with AEUG, that it really isn't a style for her to be singing in and her flaws come out quite clearly, not just in the performance but the PV. They should have given her some kind of Otsuka Ai-ish type song in my opinion. Her voice just isn't suited for this... But on a positive note, I'm thrilled to see her singing again. 8D To think that she's been gone for 4 years because of that gay-ass Oguri Shun? Wtf.

The Air Band version is kinda OK too... not as ear-grating as Mari's version...

Y'all crazy. This is a great song. Her singing could be a little better and they could've mixed in the instruments a little louder, but I think it's still great. Not a fan of the Air Band's song though.
