I'm kind of shocked at how popular Eri has become. I never cared for her in the past, but I like her new look and she was so cute in person.



I think Takahashi needs to squat as much as Reina winks to get that extra 6%.

If pressed, it has to be Eri with the Pandas and Risa on her heels. She can play up the airhead thing too much, but, gosh golly gee Eri's so purdy. Risa remains understated but she's grown on me in the past year and the idea that she's an under appreciated team player appeals to me. And if you don't like Junjun and Linlin then you should be banished to the nether realms, you soulless, joyless monster.

I totally blame strawberryjam for converting me becoming an Eri fan (because I gave up following them after Miki left, and then Berryz and C-ute got boring...). She's a very lively and energetic performer - Risa may up the crowd, and Ai may impress the crowd, but Eri's the one who's totally on her feet and bouncing everywhere - just look at her dance solo in the Resonant Live concert towards the beginning, and then she takes the dance solo in Souda/ The last time they had it in the '07 summer concert, Ai was doing that little jig, and rarely does she get the spotlight taken away.



(Speaking of which, has there been any clear pattern of who taking over the older members' lines?)



She's also got the very nice MAPLE PB, but I'd wish UFA would stop it with the whole 'She's 20, she's an adult' theme this year.



That said, I'd rather have Ai as someone to hold an actual intelligent conversation with. She's got the best expressions on stage, and the whole EmoMusume thing (as PQ calls it) suits her to a tee, since the rest can't do that just yet. She can be boring, but she's incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about a whole lot of interesting things, may they be Takarazuka, movies, learning English/studying abroad, Japanese history, gaming, what have you.



In sum, Ai and Eri are my favorites, although AX let me see the others in a better light.

JunJun, though since not having ANY appearances on TV anymore (MM in general), my libido for her has decreased.

Not because she stopped being beautiful and sexy, but because she can't be the quirky and funny character anymore that she is.



I give the others a 0 on my interest spectrum, again, not because they have done something special to deserve a worse rating than last year, but because I just don't see them doing anything entertaining anymore except for the photos on the H!O picboard.



I still hate the same two I hated last year though.

I recall liking Eri in the first place because she was an underdog... some reason I like less confident girls. I might have to change my favorite now that I see the poll results and Eri gets enough attention.

Jun Jun and Sayumi would be in 2nd place for me.

Jun Jun is just plain awesome. We nearly have the same birthday in the same year. And we're both Chinese. That alone is enough to make like her a lot. But she has a great personality after that as well.

I picked Eri for sure. She's very talented in making my day bright with all of her attitude.

I love to see her not sure face. Her comment in something that everyone will not understand.

it's sayumi for me. since the time she debuted to now her voice has improve immensely especially in her furusato performance. she's been getting more lines in the latest in the new singles and it made me so happy!
