Anime Expo concert to be aired on TV

The concert is going to air on TV Tokyo on September 5th, from 12:58 to 1:53PM



It seems that they might also show scenes from the signing session as well as other "off-shot" stuff.

Possibly. They've aired (condensed) concerts on TV before the DVD release, and I've also heard that they were shooting a DVD Magazine (Fanclub only, IIRC.), so perhaps?

Yeah, they had the cameras out at other things besides the concert too. I hope it also gets a later DVD release because, although the concert was short, I don't think it could fit within that timeslot with commericals, even if they cut out the 321 Breakin Out prize announcement and the extraneous encore performance of 321 Breakin Out. It certainly couldn't fit if they're adding offshot stuff.



I do hope they keep the "encore" chants and show how we were completely denied. Although they might do some creative editing.

Oh thats kind of cool! I wonder if they will show other parts of their trip to LA - like if they went sight seeing to Disneyland or something. Did anyone see cameras rolling at any of the handshake events? Maybe they'll get to be in the video.



If no official dvd is sold, crunchyroll might put it up since they were all part of the Anime Expo thing. Or, at least someone will illegally upload it onto H!O at some point.

I know during the morning autograph free session they told us before we were going in that we would be filmed. I don't know about the other autograph sessions.

I didn't actually see it since I didn't make it into the handshake event, but I heard there was a camera there from the nice wota couple I met. Apparently the cameras filmed their little 3-year-old wota meeting the MM girls.



The non-handshake autograph session that I did make it into didn't have cameras. Unless I completely blocked them out since I wasn't really focused on my surroundings at that point.

Sweeeet, I don't think I've ever seen video of a concert I was actually at. I'm probably more interested to see what kind of footage they got since the AX crew had practically no idea what was going on at any given time. But it was a good show, I met some good people there, and I'd almost certainly buy a DVD if it's made.

Where I was standing and chanting "En-cor-AY!," the AX staffers were earnestly trying to persuade us that the concert was really over and that the last song they did was the encore. The TV special is on the Hello Tracker now! I'm still in the middle of watching it, but I'm so glad that they aired something like this!! ShinUkyo's bag phone made an appearance when the fan in the green shirt is talking about the concert afterwards. In the background, he's walking past. It's probably more visible in the widescreen HD version.



I think the girls are talking about the cosplay they see out the window.
