I hadn't heard of this album before. The "Limited Edition," which is supposed to be released today is already "out of print." So all we're left with is the "Regular Edition" - which I've linked to above and which also comes out today.



Anyone got a track list yet? Anything good on it but not heard often?

Thanks for that link with the English titles. This looks like something special. I only have a handful of these on CD. It's like getting a new Morning Musume album from their golden age.

I like the LE cover. Props to HP for even including the banned/disgraced members on it. I was kind of pissed when they conveniently left out some members in the pics and DVD for the 10th Anniversary set.

I'm so sad that this was literally just . . . a bunch of b-sides. Nothing special at all, no new tracks, no unreleased versions, no instrumentals . . . Gaaay. MM b-sides were not really all that strong until last year or so. It's just out there to be bought by completests who already own all the singles anyway. Oh UFA and your wota pandering!

If this weren't Japan, I'd say it's out there for people who don't own many singles and just own the albums. But I think of it more as a companion to the 10th anniversary package (but I guess that was 2 years ago).

Yeah, instrumental tracks would have been sweet, but they're probably saving that for another time.

Oh, I guess the limited edition photo book was their angle for drawing people in. CDJ usually gets more in after the first special edition drought.

I just noticed they used the pic from every girl's respective first single. I think that's pretty cute. BTW, although it's passe now, I kinda dug late 90s-early 00s hair dying, if done right.

Both are pretty horrible covers, IMO POTATO. Pooch's shirt design would've been a far better one.

I'm not really sure what people were expecting to be on this, since the title "All Singles Coupling Collection" pretty much gave away from the beginning that it was just...all of their b-sides. I guess the "All Singles Complete" had one new song on it, but it's not like that song was all that awesome and would have made the whole collection worth buying (unless of course you didn't already have all of their singles).



I actually like the covers though. The photoshopping on both is pretty terrible, but I like the concepts. That's really all you can ask for from H!P these days. At least there's no random hellfire and cowboy hats.

I had delayed ordering this from CDJapan and I'm happy I waited. I went down to Chinatown last night to pick up a copy of Namie Amuro's Best Fiction Tour DVD, that a friendly store owner was holding for me, and what did I see on the shelf? A copy of the Limited Edition of the Coupling Collection, complete with photobook. So I picked that up as well. It was $39.95. More (by $2) than what CDJapan is charging for the Standard Edition, but less than what the Limited Edition would cost ($47.29) if they--CDJapan--were still selling it. I also wound up getting new CDs from Speed and Ayumi Hamasaki, not to mention a new collection of Momoe Yamaguchi's "Golden Best." Saved me a lot of dough that would have gone to CDJapan, including exorbitant shipping charges and an exchange rate that offers fewer yen for the dollar.
