Pretty bad. It's really repetitive, all of the girls are scream-singing, and I think I hear some obnoxious auto-tune going on. I hope the other A-side is better.

Wait, your post's criticism of the song are mainly non-arranger issues. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Plus, it's TV size, the unheard verses could offer something new.

Not to mention that "TV sized" anime themes sometimes hack up the song just to make a start with a big impact and they finish abruptly because of the time limit. So they make less sense than the single.

This last happened with Dakishimete Dakishimete. For now, I'll grudgingly accept this as a good sign and tentatively hope that this means the actual cut of the song will provide a worthwhile song.

Eh, I'm indifferent to it just like I was to their last single. The scream singing is pretty bad, but I could get over it if the full cut of the song is really catchy. So far though it doesn't stick with me as particularly great or particularly bad. This has been an unusual run for Berryz and C-ute. Usually one group has a string of awesome songs while the has a string of awful ones, but right now they're both in a string of "meh."

To be pedantic, the game came first. The two games are sequels to the original game that the anime is based on.



From what I can tell, Ryuusei Boy is the ending theme to both the anime and one of the upcoming games.

Wow, I love the other A-side! Has the dance-club feel of Dakishimete Dakishimete, but faster.

This is pretty damn boring, and Risako's singing is a little more annoying than usual, which is pretty bad, but its still tolerable. The few short instrumental parts are actually probably the most interesting parts, hopefully there's more of that in the full song.



And the other A-side is pretty generic as well, hopefully the PVs make these a lot more interesting. These are both super-disappointing after how good the last double A-side was.

What is the other a-side called? I like it better too. Sort of. I love the first seven seconds and was super excited and then it turned into every H!P song ever. It kind of sounds like an Emo Musume b-side given to Berryz Koubou overall. Like I never thought I'd think a song needs MORE Takahashi, but these are the songs she was BORN for and most of Berryz sound out of place here. Ryuusei Boy I don't remember much of, I listened to like half a minute and was like "Yeah no."

I suppose I'm still in the great minority in this thread since I've really liked Ryuusei Boy since the shorter preview. 30 second preview does nothing for me, but it didn't hurt it either. Risako doesn't sound bad as far as I can tell, but then again, I know next to nothing about Berryz anyway.
