Ladies and gentlemen, Sayu has a blog
Unfortunately, it's on some ugly website called gree, so we can't see her fist fight against other celebrities on ameba, but still. SAYU BLOG.
SO CUUUUTEEEE AGGHHHH SAYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
http://gree.jp/michishige_sayumi/blog
I don't know why they don't let members have blogs. It seems like they have to scratch and claw to get one. Sayu's apparently wanted to have a blog for forever, and I remember hearing about Kanon dead-set on having one.

Whaaaat lame, why not put it on ameba UFA? Kanon's is there so I can't be some thing about keeping current H!P members away from it or something.
That would have been a really good way to promote MM, way to miss a good opportunity UFA.

Wow she looks really pretty in all of her blog pictures. And I am relieved it isn't chock full of little squiggles, stars, hearts, and so on.
But 4 posts in one day so far?? Ack, this will be a hard project to translate.

I think of Sayumi's blog more as exploring new territory. Ameba is a standard choice, but gree is more for cellphone gaming, it seems, so this might actually target people who they weren't reaching before. That's my only guess for trying an unexpected site.
She's on the front page. There you go, big fish in small pond strategy.

And it took too long for Sayu, she is totally blog material. I hope she keeps it updated, she doesn't need to be Yaguchi or Kanon but updating a lot is good. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... joyful.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Oh, so happy!

Sayu manages to look better in her own selcas (I have no idea if they're still called that in Japanese... pictures of yourself self-taken on generally cell phones?) that in photo-shopped official pictures. Wow... <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ebleed.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Where? I don't see any ridiculously high-angled, Photoshopped shots here. She makes herself pretty damn visible from normal, head-on angles in a lot of these pictures.
Sayumi has some natural prettiness to her, and you can tell these are fairly (if not 100%) raw photos, considering her acne scars are visible in a few of them. She uses bright lighting to her advantage, but that's about it.
I think I like blog!Sayu a lot better than idol!Sayu. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':nosebleed:' />

Last thing at night and first thing in the morning Sayu pics = <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':danceman:' />
And, damn, she goes beyond being supremely confident in her looks by posting "no-make" photos. 95% of the Japanese girl I know would much rather be murdered than having another human being see them without makeup. She would also qualify as a wota with all those magical girl anime she watches, although I'm sure it's just because they're cute and she doesn't want to bang any of the characters. Then again...
Also, 4am bedtime posts! Me an mah Chayumi keep the same hours! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /dance.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I was talking more about the obnoxiously light lighting she uses where her entire nose disappears into a mass of white in a few photos. I think Sayu is very pretty, but I love seeing how different these idols look in their fish eyed, washed out cellphone pics. It always makes me skeptical of the photos I see of people online, because self taken photos almost never actually look like the person unless they use the timer setting and set the camera a bit away so it doesn't fish eye/eyes don't look farther or closer apart/nose doesn't look smaller/eyes don't look bigger.
On another note, wow, idols use a lot of meaningless emoticons/symbols in their blog posts. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> The again, I can't criticize as a compulsive XD-er.

Sayu is now one of my most favorite members. Going through her posts, she made one about her love for the drama Bloody Monday. She has great taste.
Re: Ladies and gentlemen, Sayu has a blog
I've been reading Sayumi's posts, although I can't keep up with her! She's not mad like Tsuji or Yaguchi but still some posts of hers are longer than Japanese idol usual. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Anyway, she's really cute and I love her makeup less face! I was in need of a blog from a current momusu... Aika's posts are always about things in the past... If for some reason, in some alternate, messed up world, I was allowed to be an idol, my personality would be the same as Sayumi's. And my skin is horrible too. I LOVE YOU SAYUMI. And if I was in her position, I could care less what people thought of my skin. I AM THE PRINCESS!

Re: Ladies and gentlemen, Sayu has a blog
FFS, what is it with people these days that they feel it necessary to insult people about their appearence. Does it really matter if somebody is a bit overweight/underweight/tall/short/black/white/wears glasses/has webbed feet. Thank God my parents raised me to judge people by their actions not by their skin colour/sexuality/nationality/religion/appearence.
As far as I'm concerned, and I like Sayu but I'm not a huge fan, good for her for being prepared to post pictures of herself that show herself in a less flattering light, she's gone up in my estimation <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sigh:' />.

Re: Ladies and gentlemen, Sayu has a blog
In her case, she's an easy target since she always talks about how cute she is. I've also said those sorts of things in this very BBS because I don't really think she can back up such lofty claims of cuteness, but it's pretty dumb to actually put it in the comment section of her blog. In fact, as much as I'm not really her fan, I am actually discouraged by this because I like her a bit for having the courage to not have makeup on in some of her pictures. I wonder if she actually has time to read her comments, as she seems to get 300-500 per post. And she makes multiple, multiple posts per day.FFS, what is it with people these days that they feel it necessary to insult people about their appearence.
In fact one of those comments
is constantly being said here as well. But I just don't understand the desire to go to somebody's blog to tell them that. I ignore things I dislike. But it's the internet, so one would expect such things. The only thing I'm surprised at is that the comments are actually enabled. Maybe gree makes them enable comments, because Mano's gree blog also has comments whereas her Oricon blog has them disabled. In the past, Morning Musume.
Currently, Booing Musume
There’s no individuality. Nor impact.
I can’t tell them apart from AKB.
They’re no good anymore.

Aw~ I'm no Beckii Cruel hater, so I think that's cute. I bet Beckii was probably happy to meet her.
Also, what Turtle said x2. I don't understand why people think it's appropriate to say those kinds of things.
