In other exciting (and totally unexpected) news, Maeda Yuki's 10th single has been announced! And it's a double a-side! It's called Mianeyo ~Gomennasai~ / Eien (using HMV's romanization of the Korean part, which I imagine is in katakana). It comes out 4/7 and again will be released on CD and casette for the old folk.



Yay for Maeda! I'm not sure why she's on such a Korean kick, anyone know if she's doing things over there or something?

Also amazing news! It seems like the Korean folks writing/producing enka songs is really big there lately. It was enough to get her a post-Hellopro single (and even more to come, apparently). Not to mention she finally got an album, after almost ten years in the damned business. If only it had come with an all-inclusive PV's DVD, I would have been the happiest man alive. In terms of promotional stuff, I'd always heard she was really active in terms of radio programs, appearances, etc. I don't imagine this has changed, since the graduation. If anything, she's probably been a lot more active than before she left. Similarly to Melon Kinenbi this past year.

Also there will be a Shugo Chara Album release featuring Guardians 4, Shugo Chara Egg & Buono! To collect together all the opening themes from the show and apparently a group version of Arigatou ~Ookiku Kansha!~. That should be kinda cool actually. It will also be released on March 10th.



I know Peach-Pitt ended the Shugo Chara manga in December and are starting a new Shugo Chara series in April. No word if the anime will continue so the likely hood of any of these groups continuing is still up in the air right now.





In other news, Berryz Koubou will be releasing their 6th album on March 31st, titled 6th Osakebi. [Neowing]



Hello!Project's Shuffle Deeto Concert will be released on March 31st also, and the Mobekimasu concert will be released on April 14th. [Info from e-hon/H!O]

Perish the thought! The thought of Hellopro, without these three groups, terrifies me. They're running lean enough as it is, and anymore would be too much. But you said that this new manga is still based on the same world as Shugo Chara, right? If so, I don't see a reason they'd do away with the anime. Unless it's really doing poorly in ratings or something.

It's about time! I was just thinking about this recently, funny enough. After putting together the release lists for the past two years, and realizing it had been a long while since their last (real) album. Just the other day, they officially updated the TNX site to announce the soundtrack for the COACH movie is being released the same day as the movie, on February 6th. The album features the ending song by Ogawa Mana. She has sang the song in concert recently and its floating around YouTube, its a pretty standard ballad, but sounds really nice. The rest of the music seems to just be music score, not vocal songs. It appears it may only be available from the TNX Online Store, though most of their releases are available there earlier than another version that gets released later, so it may get a major release.

Yeah, that is her new stage play, Photogenic, which starts on April 14th. I don't really recognize anyone form the cast and no S/mileage as far as I can read. It seems it will have a more approach then the others but then again the latest one was Hello Kitty. I don't think we will see Photogenic in DVD... That's a pity.

Well, it's certainly better than Platinum 9's cover. Although it would have been amusing to see if they could out-ugly their last album design effort. I would start to believe the designers are in a contest to see who could make the worst things without getting fired first. Maybe we'll get lucky, and the higher quality images of this cover will have sparkles.

I actually like them a lot. They don't look exactly the same, the font isn't overdone in photoshop effects, and the colors are nice. I can't tell what the girls' faces and outfits look like from the preview, but otherwise I don't see anything bad about them.

I can answer it quite simply:

Captain is graduating (or already did as she is older then momoko), also Saki N (and probably Chisato) is finishing junior high since both are two months older (saki) or younger (chisato) then airi & risako.

All of them are not popular as the five mentioned, so even if they graduate it's not as importent...





BTW, why does Mano graduate now? she is one year older then momoko & maimi (erina - April 1991, Maimi - Feb. 1992, and momoko is also at the begging of 1992)... did she stayed a year at school or something?

I should have elaborated but I didn't because it was early and I tend to forget things when it's early. The photobook is just the best shots from past Photobooks stuck together to be resold. So since Saki never got a photobook she doesn't get to be in it. But I don't know what the excuse is for Maasa and Chinami since they both released Photobooks last year. And Miyabi's on the crap list since she hasn't released one since 2007.





I always assumed that in Japan, if you stuck around to finish high school you graduated at 18. I guess it depends on when their birthday is too since Mano's almost 19. Speaking of Mano, maybe they just thought it was another way to stick her into something H!P related. Like oh yeah, BTW! Mano's old now too even though everyone still thinks she's like 16. Chinami, Miyabi and Maasa all turn 18 this year so they could graduate if I knew when they went into school or if there are even still in school. It seems like they don't publicize if someone drops out of school but do if they graduate. :\ But anyway if you think about it, they could just as easily release a Berryz Koubou Photobook for the whole group and kill a lot of birds with one giant stone. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Mano had to repeat kindergarten. She really dumb.



(The Japanese school year starts in April and ends in March. One would have to assume that Mano was simply just barely on the wrong side of the birthday cut-off date. Despite the nearly full year of age difference, both Yajima and Mano will still be 18 at the time of graduation. This happens all the time in schools all the over world because they have to make some date the cut off for enrolling.)

EDIT: Ah damn, it's been removed from youtube yet again. Well, my opinion was that it wasn't near as good as "Koi no Bell", but it was certainly better than the last one. But just a new song existing was a pleasant surprise, so that may have colored my thoughts.
