Well, I'm pleasantly surprised at Sayu's blog. This feels more like the Sayu I've been wanting to see over the years rather than the I'M SO CUTE TEE HEE Sayu who constantly appears on TV and makes me want to run a pole through her face.
She appears very down-to-earth here, and I'm glad she got to meet Beckii, who she seems to adore so much. Her vanity level goes even farther down for the sans make-up photos and no internet/myspace-diseased photos either!
All in all, I'd say her blog has bumped her up from bottom MM to somewhere in the middle. And I mean that in a very good way.
She did some para para dances on youtube and has gotten herself a bit of fame in Japan for it, I think she's like 16? She has a jpop group now. People have some serious hatred towards her for reasons I don't understand.

I'm bumping it because it should be required reading for all. It's so much more awesome than 95% of celebrity blogs out there (99% of which are nothing but pictures of food). I love how she purposefully baits the haters, although actually reading her blog would most likely convert minor haters and people on the fence. She also gives some pretty fun behind the scenes stuff on MM. Also, she's kind of gay for Takahashi, and that's hot.

Have to admit I am impressed, she comes across very well, nice sense of humour and some quite interesting stuff to say. I must remember to look at the translations more often.
It took me a few seconds to realise the costumes were masked and I was thinking "That looks really odd with all those hearts on it". Sometimes I amaze myself with how dumb I can be <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hatthe.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' />.

I admit, reading her blog has made me dislike her less. Not so much I can say I like her, but now I don't know who to name my least favorite in the group.
Reading today about Sayumi's bangs, and I hearkened back to the days when members weren't even allowed to change their hair styles, like Risa wanting bangs or Takahashi not being allowed to shave her head (positively years before Brittany thought about it). And here's Sayu just cutting away in the bathroom mirror...

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the blog has made Sayumi shoot up the list of members I like. And that entry Al posted was rather sad, but she's honest about herself and I respect that. I still don't want her to have singing lines though. :|

And in related news, her recent appearance on Mecha-Ike was absolutely epic. The girl honestly needs to graduate from MM and take her rightful place as the world's cutest comedian. Also, she admits to two other people that are almost as cute as she is (which, surprisingly, Takahashi isn't one of them, considering Sayu's constant crushing on her).
Too bad that the guest translator has disappeared while the regular one is on vacation. The current posts are filled with drunken Sayu, Eri and Risa goodness. I swear, that Niigaki is a little lush.
