Here's the Story Version of Run Devil Run. Of course it doesn't get interesting till the end. :<

They have an App on iTunes for Run Devil Run, it's free. It has pictures, short preview of the Black Soshi Repackaged album and the MV for Run Devil Run. They say there's also a Pay version but I haven't found it yet that has the Story Version MV on it.

Is Hyori's new song an elaborate April's Fool or what?

Bizarre!

That has got to be the most un-story story version of a music video I've ever seen.

It doesn't make any sense.

Nope, I'll agree with you on that. But if you see Oh! first and then watch this right after then it makes a very small bit of sense that just gets lost after a few seconds and you don't get it back till the end, maybe. But that's only if you had a little sense of what was going on to begin with.

Not really K-pop since they haven't done a Korean song in a while, by DBSK/TVXQ is DONE:

http://www.sanspo.com/geino/news/100403/gn...31822017-n1.htm

Millions of fangirls crying as I type this. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

That said, they had a few songs that I really loved. Probably my favorite was "Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimaun Darou"

Tallgeese. I LOVE THAT SONG. I also really liked Last Angel song and BREAK OUT. Even though I never had been a fan of them, I realize their impact on people. It's sad to seem them go like this.
Well, it is a boring video to me, so there was no real sarcasm involved. =P

However, Joel showed me this video yesterday:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_u5amB7cDs

This, I like. (except for those distracting children inbetween) Catchy tune, has a catchy thing inbetween (that Ah-Ah-Ahaa) and the girls are hot. :>
"like" was a huge understatement.

A friend, who has absolutely 0 interest in asian music, and me listened to this song around 30 times (I am not joking), during our ~7 hours long car ride today.

The video and some of their moves are insanely hot. (except for the very distracting useless kids)

The hip thrusting at ~02:03 is our most favourite dance move ever.

Hyori's REAL new song (that she's promoting) dropped a few days ago.

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.

It's fun, for lack of a better word, and very... her. It seems a little like she's going for the Lady Gaga-esque shock-factor at times, but... it really is fun, and catchy.

(Side fact: One of the music channels banned her MV. Why? Dancing on a bus without a seatbelt/dancing in the roads is a violation of traffic laws! Ugh, Korea... sometimes, I really wonder...)

The dancers at the beginning screamed Gaga to me.

I watched this yesterday. Fun little song, looking forward to hearing the album.

I enjoyed the Swing MV way too much, also.

I don't really care for this song either or it might be the video, not sure yet. I'll need to let it grow on me. Or at least try. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

For the 0.3% of the BBS that cares about boy groups that aren't JE:

NEW SUPER JUNIOR MUSIC VIDEO FUCK YEAH

... It's not quite Sorry, Sorry (the MV is pretty sparse and the choreography is kind of lulzy), but the song grows on you like fuck. Bounce to you, bounce to you! Break it down to you, down to you...

EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH/LISTEN BECAUSE I SAY SO.

Decent video. It's pretty much a summer festival- and Mirotic-themed Sorry Sorry. Nice to know they're experimenting with color.

I feel like I was dropped into the middle of a bollywood song at the beginning of the song (but a super cool, Korean boy only Bollywood!). xD Oh and then they do that little speed skating move and then part of the dance from Marry Poppins Chimney Sweep scene and that was some amazing dancing. It's great. K-pop boy bands know how to get me to listen AND watch a video. Haha!

Speaking of interesting dances, f(x) just came out with their new song for their mini album, NU ABO. I like it much better then Chu for sure.

WTF man... I thought all of them were SNSD-hot and I'm totally not gay... (except for Joel and a little bit Prinny if he plays the right music maybe)

Searching "f(x) Amber" on google does indeed make it look like there's a trap in this group, but this video still is hot. So which one (in the video) is this Amber ? (I guess the one at 02:40 with the very white/bleached hair ?)

No, Amber is at 1:12-ish? Apparently, she was even incredibly tomboyish before debut, so they just kinda... ran with it. This haircut is not flattering, poor thing. Check out the crotch grab n' thrust at 2:42, hahaha.

The one with the very bleached hair (well, it's a wig) is Sulli, who's 16. They keep switching back and forth from the wig, but she's at 0:33 or so. Krystal is like 15... she's the one with black hair and square-ish yellow-brown tips in her layers. (0:12) She's also Jessica from SNSD's younger sister.

I think the only legal one is Victoria, with the orange bottom to her hair (1:22). The remaining member is Luna (2:24), who has brown-ish hair with blond highlights and has all the main singing parts. Personally, I think they have fairly distinct looks/really crazy hair, so it shouldn't be too hard to tell them apart. They just go through a lot of costume changes.

(Am I bitter because the f(x) video looks higher budget than the Super Junior one? ..... Maybe a little. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /frown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':frown:' /> )

I don't see anybody knew at 0:48. However, I know now who you mean from the rap-ish part.

According to wikipedia, Sulli (16) isn't even the youngest. (Krystal, 15)

I can't really make out who's who, so I'm just going to stay with "they all look good".

If anyone has iTunes, you should really consider buying the Girls' Generatiobn app, though it's $7.99. BUT It's got the full Run Devil Run album plus all the Music videos released for the album (Gee, Genie, Oh! and both versions of Run Devil Run) and some high quality promo shots of all the girls. They also have a lite version that's free, but it only has music videos for Run Devil Run, a teaser for Run Devil Run and two small interviews, one in Korean with the whole group and one in English with just Jessica and Tiffany.

I wish more people released App's like that. D: It would totally be worth it then spending money on just mp3s.

Oh and total excitement erupted from me today when I went to my cable station (Comcast) and noticed a Asian Entertainment section in my Top Picks On Demand page. I clicked on it and noticed music, so I went there and found a treasure trove of recent music videos from 4Minute, 2NE1, 2PM, Super Junior, SNSD, Wonder Girls and many more. Now, if only they had some Japanese music videos I would have been over the moon. D:

Does anyone know what NU ABO means? I like the song, but if it's about the New Antelope Boiling Olympics, that might be a problem.

Also, the song really reminds me of something, but I can't think of what.

I'm supposed to get NU ABO in the mail in about 5-6 days! I'm excited!

In the meantime, I listened to Super Junior's new album. Mixed feelings about it: I really love Bonomana, My Only Girl, a Shake it Up. This whole album is like dance song, ballad, dance song, ballad, ballad, ballad. Idk. Too many ballads for me. I'm never really a big fan of Korean ballads because most of them sound the same to me.

I agree with this 110%! But it seems like it's mostly the male Korean ballads I have a problem with. Anyway, I wished there were more dance songs on the Super Junior album. :<

Edit: Speaking of Super Junior again, Live performance ofBonamana. Autotune and Live really don't mix fellas. :x

Don't get too attached - supposedly he's engaged. It's actually really rather cute, he left a "code" in his "Thanks" portion of the cd and people were able to decipher it, and it was a marriage proposal to his girlfriend. Who knows if his girlfriend said yes, but I'm pretty sure they've been together for awhile so I wouldn't be surprised if she did. (All this I find funny because, if it were Heechul or Siwon, all the girls would be like, "Hell nah!" but since it's Shindong, the slightly chubby one, they're all "Cuute" about it.)

I love Bonamana (even though I have no clue how to spell it half the time or what it means) even though it does sound a lot like Sorry Sorry. (Then again, I loved Sorry Sorry.)

The Wonder Girl's new song is out, 2 Different Tears. It's alright. It will probably grow on me. They also have the English versions of Tell Me and So Hot, which are not bad but . . . does anyone else think the recording sounds a little weird? Like they're in a bathroom or something. I don't like the mixing much.

I must be the only one who feels really disappointed by Bonamana. There are points I like, but to me, it sounds almost like a Ring Ding Dong remix - Ring Ding Dong x Sorry Sorry. I adored Neorago, and I played Sorry Sorry over 100 times, but I've only listened to Bonamana once.

As for Shindong getting married... I'm a bit worried about it. Kibum has disappeared, Hangeng is gone, Kangin as well - now Shindong getting married? It's a sign, to me, that SuJu may be coming to a close soon, which will make me very sad, as they're one of the few groups I've followed from album one. I'd almost be okay with it at this point, though.

Wonder Girls feels leagues behind the other Korean groups but that might just be my opinion. But that might be the music videos fault. I don't like the Wonder Girls music videos, they feel so cheesy and not something that would appeal to a world market. And I may have this hidden dislike for Jyp. Does he REALLY need to be in the videos? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... omgwtf.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

It's hard to say 'behind' about something so subjective, but can say I like WG least of the current K-pop groups I'm familiar with.
