Wow, they are trying HARD to make this another Nanchatte Renai right down to the parts in the choreography where it looks a little wierd minus the "I'm cute and happy" parts. Besides that, Gaki looks amazing.

Mehhh. Disappointing PV, but I think I like it more than Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai. They could've done a lot more with the sets they used, and the trampoline parts were really awkward, but I at least like the parts where they're holding signs?



But the song is really good. I don't care that it sounds like Nanchatte Renai. It's at least a completely different style. We haven't had this kind of song since Mikan!

I make it a point not to listen to singles until there's a performance or PV, so I finally got around to it. Eh, could be worse, but the whole time I listened, especially during the chorus, I was totally singing along with the chorus of that Sotsugyo Ryoko song from No. 5. (skip to about 50 seconds to see what I'm talking about)



And I liked Mikan, assbutts.

I liked "Mikan" too, but it just got so old after a while. Same with "Naichau" and "Nanchatte."

Besides ELECTROCONVULSIVE THERAPY and maybe ass 'n titties, they just really haven't come out with anything I was excited about since "Onna ni Sachi Are." It's disappointing, because Momusu is what really got me into J-pop.

Formulaic song and nothing too special about the video. I liked the idea of having green-blue-black costumes at first. But overall it just has a very weird vibe.

It does indeed sound like Mikan, which is a bad thing, thought not as horrible.



Anybody else thinks that Risa's eyes look different ? (especially at the brown-room close-ups, e.g. 1:25)

Maybe it's just the make-up.

Wooow, talk about mixed messages. By the covers--Limited A, I think--and outfits, I wasn't really anticipating such a... fresh, happy song. Can't really explain it, but it's a pleasant listen that I think will last for the month or so. The idea of a "Seishun collection" makes me think it's a graduation song (the high school kind, not the Momusu kind), which I find interesting considering no one's graduating high school this year. ... At least I don't think so. Koharu might be at that point right now, but Aika's still only 17.

The song has grown on me since I first listened to it. It's not my favorite song ever, but it's cute and pleasant to listen to.



The PV frustrates me mostly because there's so many little things they could have done differently that would have made it 100x more enjoyable. If the girls are going to be standing out in the middle of a sports field (baseball? soccer?), why not have them in sports jerseys so they don't seem so out of place? I know it's not a matter of money for more costumes, because the girls go through tons of costumes on stage and could even easily reuse some of those. Then if they're going to be sitting in a living room, why not put them in regular clothes so it seems more homey? Again, it can't be a money issue because every time they're on a TV show or make an appearance somewhere they're dressed in expensive brand name clothes. Re-use that stuff, most people would never notice. The trampoline jumping and sign scenes are a nice way to break up the typical H!P format, so at least they have that in there. Although I don't get why we can't actually see the signs in a lot of the shots, is that just the picture being cut off in this particular rip?

I don't think the PV and the dance matches the song at all. :nonono: The somewhat mellow song with strings and stuff just doesn't go with happy-go-lucky cheerleader team jumping on trampolines. It just doesn't. Those outfits and settings would work much better for Mikan, but then for Mikan they had to go with sparkly baroque CG crapfest... What TnB said above is also valid. I shouldn't complain too much though, because at least we're getting a decent amount of angles and something seems to be going on. I hope this means that they're at least trying.



Song is still rather meh, repetitive, and feels like it doesn't really know which direction it wants to go. At least it's not offensive, so it may still grow on me.

I'm pretty sure whatever "street clothes" they have lying around in their closets would've been better suited to this.

Those outfits feel more like they'd belong to a ridiculous Berryz song (or, for some reason, ~SEXY BOY~ just popped up in my head. SEXCHII UWA UWA! In fact, can we trade the pretty white dresses in SEXY BOY for these?) rather than something this mellow.



No costume changes, soccer field that they probably rented off some high school for cheap, random beige couch? I give this entire single a resounding <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /frown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> . On the bright side, everyone looks gorgeous. Maybe their budget went to getting a kick-ass make-up artist/hair stylist?

I kinda wish they weren't all doing the same dance. I liked it when they would do dance moves centered around one person, or usually during solos, the singer is doing a different dance than the rest of them. Personally I think it looks more interesting that way.

Get out of my head. This really reminded me of Sotsugyo Ryoko and I didn't hear the song until today.



I like to wait for the PV and get the "full package" but this time, I stopped watching about 1 minute in. It is so awkward.

It does sound like a graduation song almost, so most of the background makes sense but...why the weird ugly couch at the end? What is with the ugly ass clothes?

Same bad choreography and then cut to individual close ups? God I hate that. Everyone over emotes and it makes them look moronic -- except for Reina because it oddly comes off like she's being sarcastic.



However, the song is okay. "I'd fold laundry to it" level of passing.

I happy for it being #1 but, I'm not surprise that it's not doing better than OGNI. They have been pretty much safe by recycling the same sound for the last few singles. Maybe if they break this formula and give us something fresh and new for the next single then maybe their sales would be better.

It would be too good to be true. Few things annoy me more than an amazing song going to waste on the album no one will buy instead of getting a single release.

Is 15,525 low for first day sales? Since our old friend Mikan sold about 28,000 in it's first week 15,525 for one day sounds OK to me, but there again what do I know about the mysteries of the Oricon charts <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hatthe.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />.

Not having learnt my lesson with Japanfiles, I decided tonight to just buy the damn mp3s for $3 since you can't seem to rely on anything new nowadays to NOT be transcoded 2 or 3 times. So I login, no problem. I see that I need 3 credits (or $2.97) for the single, no problem. I purchase 3 credits via the Paypal link, no problem. I return to Japanfiles & Add Album... problem. I can toggle the Add/Remove option all night, but nothing ever shows up in my cart & nothing ever happens to indicate that I'm able to USE my 3 credits. I'm actually kinda buying this blindly, as I haven't heard anything on the single since that 1st preview at the beginning of the thread. DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO BE LEGIT?

I got mine through iTunes, they actually had Seishun Collection up like a week before it was being released and then later added the c/w once the single was released.
