Were the last two region free? Looking at the packages for them, I don't actually see any place listing the region (which should be "A"). In fact, I can't find a region code listing for any of my Japanese blu-rays, and only about half of my US ones have them, with a few having multiple regions listed on them.

edit: Going back and looking, only about 6 out of 50-some of my Japanese blu-rays are listed as region A, but I don't know if that means the rest are region free, or it's just assumed that are region A. However all my Japanese DVDs clearly have region 2 listed on them, so I'm not sure what's up.
I've just checked the CD Japan entries HERE and HERE, they definitely have them as region free. I would guess with DVD regions being so easily overcome it won't be long before Blu-ray players are multi-region so there's not much point in using regions as it just restricts the potential market especially these days when it's easy to buy DVDs world-wide.
Otani Masae said on her blog that she was taking pictures for the jacket of a CD that's coming out in October. I guess that

Also she said she wants to change her artist name and asked for suggestions. Five days later, she thanked everyone for their serious and goofy suggestions, and said she had decided on something that came to her.
I bet she's gonna go with Marcy if she changes it at all.
First Dawa and now Kanon. I'm also pretty sure Yuka mentioned something about the Mexicans or Negroes taking jobs away from the idol industry. As for Saki, one word: Jews. S/mileage is the most adorable bunch of racists on the planet.
They have to live up to their [OO G. Eenende!!] mustaches!

At least DHC is a good brand. I tried some of their pills before and they really worked for me. Although it had nothing to do with weight loss.

Wow, Kaori looks GORGEOUS there. Maybe it's something about the hair, but she looks so much younger.

Re: Yuko and the diet pills. The adds say she lost ~6kg in 2 months, maybe she had gained a bit of weight? At least in the picture she doesn't look anorexic (she looks great, actually), and 6kg is kind of a lot, so maybe she had put on some weight? That or it's all just marketing xD

Sayumi made it into another most hated female celebrity ranking. You go girl!!! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /weeeh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />

Full List:

1. Masami Nagasawa

2. Sayumi Michishige

3. Saki Aibu

4. Erika Sawajiri

5. Nozomi Tsuji

6. Nozomi Sasaki

7. Keiko Kitagawa

8. Akiko Wada

9. AKB48

10. Asako Itou

I have no idea what these people have against all those actresses.

You got a link to that? I just can't see people hating Masami or Keiko. There's also no real rhyme or reason to the type of people on there other than being in showbiz, but there are far more that deserve to be on that list in the top 10 than those choices.

I got the news from this site. It shows a scan of the list, but you can't see any of the reasons. Maybe it has something to do with jealousy over scenes with popular actors.

... or maybe it's just person who they dislike because of their character ?

That would at least fit with Erika Sawajiri. I'm amazed the people still even care about her. haha

I like that one post that tries to guess the reasons, most say "jealousy" but for Tsuji the guess was "The huge ribbon?"

I can understand Tsuji. She went from cute minimoni kid to knocked-up bug-eyed big-haired gal mama.

AKB48 gets a lot of airtime without having any discernable talents. Some girl do a good job, but other are not ready for tv.

Sawajiri had her bitch episodes, Sayumi has her narcissist personality/act and I can see why some people don't like Akiko Wada.

The others though seem so random. Actresses don't really get many tv appearances that show their personalities. I don't see how Masami Nagasawa, Saki Aibu and Keiko Kitagawa are very offensive. I know Saki Aibu was rumored to be dating that dude from Tokio, but the others have no scandal I can think of.

This is going to sound odd but I was wondering if anyone knew (or could) get me tickets to the graduation show on the 27th of November? I need two tickets, and I'd be willing to pay commission, shipping, etc. Is there any good way of going about doing this? Because I really have absolutely no idea where to start!

Yes, but so many of these surveys are weird especially if the have both a "Most Hated" and "Most Loved" one at the same time and several names appear on both. I think they had one recently here in the UK and that slimy c##t Simon Cowell, the ironing board with a couple of melons glued on the front Victoria Beckham and that repulsive slag Katie "Jordan" Price appeared in both.

Hint: I may have given a subtle clue as to which survey I would have put all three in <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />.

I guess if it's a case of "all publicity is good publicity" then it doesn't matter, people are watching you even if they hate you.

They sold out in less than a day, so your only options now are secondhand tickets from yahoo auctions or other ticket resellers. There are dozens of companies that help bid on yahoo auctions for you.

What can I say, I'm old-fashioned and was bought up to believe "cunt" can be very offensive to some people therefore I choose to censor it. Maybe it depends which country you come from as to how offensive it is.

Whatever, indulge me, censorship is uncool but not when sombody chooses to exercise it freely on their own writing to avoid the possibility of offending others <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':danceman:' />.

I agree with this statement. If somebody wishes to censor their words, they are within their right to do so. And you're within your right to fill the censor void with whatever dirty letters you can think of. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

In other news, Morning Musume will be on the Hey Hey Hey! Idol SP with the OGs on September 20th! \<img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ohyeah.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D/' /> I can't remember the last time they were on Hey Hey Hey. D:

I'm not sure I agree with that kind of self-censorship. You obviously meant to use the word, and everyone knows what you were referring so why bother covering it up? Why hide behind the defense that it might offend someone, when you're using the word but somehow masking the letters makes it "okay"? It's one thing if censorship is forced upon you, it's another when you do it yourself. The intent is still there.

Since it's offtopic (even for a spam thread), I'll comment that I never thought I'd see the OGs together with current MM again after the last fiasco on Utaban. Maybe it'll be better on Hey Hey Hey.

It's just the convention I guess that printed media has always tended to follow. I think the idea is supposed to be that I know what I meant and you know what I meant but I am showing that I appreciate that a particular word might upset people therefore by not printing the word fully I am indicating that I am aware of their sensibilities.

I don't know about other countries but over here if a newspaper was reporting on some sort of racist rant they might say that somebody said "n****r", OK everybody knows what the word is but it isn't printed in full because it might cause offence to a number of black people. It is just showing an awareness that you realise that somebody else might be offended.

Anyway surely we all self-censor to some degree, I am sure that if you drop something heavy on your foot when you are on your own your language wouldn't be the same as if you did the same thing if you were surrounded by elderly relatives. Similarly I tell jokes to my friends I would never tell my mother <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':danceman:' />.

It's probably just going to be the same OG's that show up all the time.

Probably Koharu too now.

They should secretly call Aibon on and not tell Tsuji (if she's on it)~
