She's got her daughter starring in one of her songs and yet she still is hiding her identity (poorly, already seen her leaked pic's). Either take the glasses off or keep her hidden, you can't have it both ways. D:

Wow I was wondering why Odoru Pompokolin sounded so familiar.

I totally forgot that I used to watch that cartoon when I was a kid. But I remembered the song being in Chinese and now I can't find it on youtube, darn. I always thought this WAS a Chinese song...

Her name in Cantonese is "Siu yeen ji" or something, hahaha.

Anyways, thanks for that at least, Tsuji.

I thought it was familiar, and I've never even seen the show. I looked it up and still had no clue why I knew the song except that it seems to be a well-known song.

Yeah, this album was pretty bad. Hell, her initial "HAIII" in response to the annoying "MAMA" is higher-pitched than the damn children. (And this is a better thread for this question: did it really only sell 629 copies? I wonder if it would have sold more last year after her "best mom" poll award.)

I'm sure the Sailor Moon lovers will be appalled by it, but the best cover was "Moonlight Densetsu", since her voice was slightly deeper. I like how her voice slides in it. Or perhaps it was because the source material was good. "Yuuki 100%" had the best usage of children. The original song "Chibi Deviwl" was my favorite song on the album. The two-second Morning Musume reference in "Oshiri Kagiri Mushi" was the best part of the album though.

Poor Tsuji... I didn't think the covers were bad.

But what's her audience? Other mommies, right? Would YOU play this for your kids? This is definitely not something I'd listen to on a regular basis. With exception to a few. Yeah, having kids in the songs kind of ruins it.

Piripara piripara~

I don't know if that's how it goes, but that's how I always assumed it went.

Her voice sounds really, really odd in these songs. And no, I don't wanna hear "but that's how she's always sounded." She sounds flat, or something, I dunno.

I hear it too and I'm thinking it's just the result of being away from singing for so long and then trying to come back out of the blue. My little rinky dink karaoke singing probably doesn't compare, but if I stay away from singing for too long, it's like I have to retrain my voice to do what I want and not what it wants, or something.

But yay for Moonlight Densetsu and I can't wait for a riiiip~ So far, I just really like the way her version sounds even though it's basically a slightly suped up version of the original.

A CD rip? It's been out for a month already, if that's what you mean. That's how we've all heard it, I assume, since it sold less than 700 copies.

Oops, goes to show how out of the loop I am. I guess I'll just go grab Moonlight Densetsu then.
