Momusu drops one last album before JunLinEri kick the bucket

Post by Haru »

I'm leaning on the latter personally.

First preview is here. "Itoshiku Kurushii Kono Yoru ni," I believe the title is.

Tracklist and covers are here. I figured it was safe to start a new topic what with a preview out now.

I'm suprised this song, it's only Kamei leading (or course, with Ai and Reina, we won't forgot them)

No pandas big solos?

I'm waiting Tsunku.

I can't tell from your unclear sentences, but are you trying to imply that there should be panda solos in every album track? There are still 8 more songs that we have no clue about. That's still enough for every member to get her own entire solo song.

XD

Sorry, I meant no Pandas LEAD. gomen gomen.

It's still the same pattern. Ai then Reina, then group lines. It's getting boring (unless for Ai & Reina's fans, of course)

But like Em said, there's still seven more songs (one, I can't remember what, is confirmed as a Takahashi solo) to go and quite some time before the album releases.

I quite like the preview. Nice piano. The covers are pretty good by H!P standards, too. Time will tell if this is the big, dramatic panda send-off we're looking for, I guess, but UFA's been dreadful to them since they joined, so I'm inclined to be cynical.

Eri's vibrato sounds like she was singing slowly and they sped up the song. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hahaha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The Kimi no- me wo- part sounds very late 80s early 90s anime theme.

Reina says she has a solo on the album called "Ai no honoo". Ai-chan is also supposed to have a solo "Itoshiku Kurushii kono yoru ni"

This fantasy sounds a lot like Viyuuden. Led by Sayumi, of course.

Fantasyが始まるPreview

There's hints of a late 80s early 90s sound, but it's mostly Viyuuden style synth pop.

The melody perfectly fits the fantasy/princess theme they're using.

I like how the singing is soft and breathy, but the beat is intense.

With so much new content, I'm hoping for a somewhat cohesive album.

or you know, just a good album. That works too.

It turing out to be an incredible album. I like the concept that we'll be getting songs featuring different members as leads. I going to take a wild guess and say that they might pair Risa, Aika, and Sayumi up in one of the songs since Ai and Reina have solos and you know that there is going to be a song for Eri, JunJun, and LinLin.

Hm... The title track's not really jumping out to me at all, but the Itoshiku song sounds really nice and airy--if that makes any sense. I think I'll end up really liking that song on the album.

Also, I'm totally loving the covers. The girls look amazing in those (PV recycled) dresses and the color palette goes nicely with their little splashes of color.

I did not expect this album to be good, but I've liked both album tracks so far, especially the Sayumi one, and the covers are...really quite good, actually. Don't make me hopeful now only to punch my soul when it comes to the crunch, UFA!

Another preview: 1から10まで愛してほしい

I'm hoping that it'll be cooler in full quality because this preview sounds cloudy.

Loud group song, a lot of brass, kind of funky, but it isn't doing much for me.

It's so unified that it sounds like it could be any MM roster from the past 7 years.

I hear phantom Fujimoto & Kago voices. I'm sure it's just the radio rip.

This album needs... Lin Lin takes 3 hours to sing the national anthem before the big game

1 kara 10 doesn't come close, but not much can.

Preview of the "orchestral" album version of Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game. It's pretty much the same except for an extended introduction, which is somewhat predictable but still works. The song's not brilliant, but this is my favourite version of it.

The synthpop Sayu song is still the best thing from this album that I've heard so far. The newest preview is a bit bland.

Sayu featuring Morning Musume is the greatest thing to hit civilization since we learned to harvest fire.

Still hoping for a little Linlin love though (even though I love Junjun 10 times more, Linlin be gettin' her sing on!).

I hope Aika. Gaki, Jun, and Lin get songs where they're leads like Eri and Sayu. I feel like the album is heading that direction.

I see this as a filler album so there are no left over songs when Eri, Jun, and Lin leave to be on the new albu, with 9th gen, so they didn't really care for making a good opening like usual.

Onna Gokoro to Nanto Yara preview

Led by everyone's favorite flesh-eating virus.

It's cute and sort of laid back, it makes me think of a ton of other songs, but not necessarily H!P.

If this had a genre title, I think it would be "Bubblegum Reggae".

I really like the electric guitars in this. Everything is very random, but works somehow.

The full album rip must have leaked by now right? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... pirate.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Ah, now this is more like it! Pops, burbles, squeaks, electric guitar and the Rubberface in the lead. It's nice to see MM move out of their string stage (which I honestly think peaked over a year ago now) and back into bubbly synth/electro-pop.

Onna Gokoro to Nanto Yara sounds a little anime to me. Anyway they released a preview of BRAVO. It sounds like combination of s/mileage and one of their songs. It's also another group song.

Was BRAVO made by extracting the DNA from a Buono fossil and injecting it into a Nice Girl Project cell?

I love the guitar solo part.

Since this is a true group song, the theory of everyone leading at least 1 track on this album is DEAD.

02. ブラボー! ALL

03. Fantasyが始まる SAYU led

from what I've heard so far the album sounds promising <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> I like that they're doing some energetic songs.

I wish the theory about each member leading a song had been true though. that would've been awesome.

I could care less about JunJun or LinLin. I like them, but they're almost old news anyways.
