I'm not a Risako-fan, but I always had the impression that she has a strong voice.
Risako hasn't gotten my bidding either regards of favorites. But she is darn AWESOME teamed up with NGP! I mean seriously, she's done some epic stuff with Nice Girl!

Because, by idol standards, Risako is a genuinely good singer, who has an actually low voice, and Berryz songs for the past few years have been high as fuck. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':oiy:' />
Anyway, this is pretty cool. Risako is one of my favorite H!P kids so it's nice to see people recognizing that, in the right range, she can sing pretty well. I wish they'd left her hair down and not put her in that hideous outfit. She's not fat but the hideous fucking tents they dress her in certainly add weight.
...and, is that a girl's bra I'm seeing? Wtf why is her bra out of her dress lol.

Ah I love Risako! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wheely:' /> She's so talented! How old are these girls? They all look 17+ (apart from Risako of course) They have nice voices!

I like Risako too (she's been growing on me since Elegant Girl came out), but how about some love for the NGP girls? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... pyeyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

When that Elegant Girl single originally came out, it floored me. We had Risako, heralded as one of the worst front singers in modern H!P, showing us she could have a viable career as a solo artist. I couldn't believe how great she sounded, looked, and carried herself. It shows you, better than most examples, that it's all about how you utilize the talent that someone brings you (large or small.) Heck, there are some Buono songs where Momoko actually sounds decent. This, compared to the troll she sounds like in Berryz Koubou songs. It seems the producers want the Berryz Koubou girls to do those affected, childish voices of theirs for the remainder of the group's time together. It figures, though, as they are reaching the latter end of the age spectrum as far as H!P is concerned. Anything that can tie them to that kiddie image, for as long as possible, could be necessary in their eyes. If only they had done this with Ayaya for a while (in 2005 onward), rather than moving her straight into adult contemporary. Not that I don't love her latter-era songs, I adore them. I'm one of the few that does, it seems. But still, I agree that her idol days were ended a bit too soon.
TNX is where it's at, though, and as usual I'm dying to see their new concert. Having this clip, with full live vocals, just makes it that much tougher to wait. It just released one week ago, however, so I'm assuming it's not up on the tracker. From what Steve says, it typically takes an act of God for most TNX stuff to get up there properly. Particularly things like videos, concerts, etc.
