It's a fanclub event, so as long as you are in the fanclub you can apply for these type of events. I am not sure if it is only the four newbies or if the other girls will be there to introduce them. It won't be too much considering the event is free (I guess they don't think people are willing to pay for barely trained idols) but it will be a great chance to meet them. If it's like any other FC event, handshakes are always involved at the end.

Now, since I haven't decided on a favorite I am thinking of bringing them each a small present, no clue what yet though.

According to SayuNii, Sayumi and Risa will be at one event and Reina and Aika will be at the other. Takahashi will be at neither. :<

Will all four girls be at both events, or is it split up?

Looking at that though, are they doing it by age or place in the group? Since Sayu and Risa will be co-leader and leader respectively, and then Reina and Aika.

Good thing Mizuki mastered the lyrics ahead of time, just in case she was surprised with a place in Morning Musume. I wonder if any of the other eggs expected to get in.

Erina looks like it pains her to smile, Kanon makes up for that too much and Riho is perfect.

I reread my post and I realised that wasn't exactly the clearest. Go sleep deprivation.

Basically I was trying to point out how the events were by age and where they would be in the group. (Risa being leader and Sayu being co, and Reina and Aika being their bitches). I derped somewhere when I tried to make that point.

I hope Mizuki grows her hair out by the first single. She looked fucktons better with it longer.

I think Erina's is kind of cute. Reminds me of some of the photos of her modeling I've seen. Although I hope they're not going to stick with those bangs for Riho. And Kanon seems to be one of those people who never stops smiling, but I think I like her picture the most. And I have to say that Mizuki's profile picture is so much more flattering than her Egg one was.

Those pictures are precious. I wouldn't call her insecure and indecisive -- she seems like she's modest to a fault.

Somehow to me in those pictures Erina and Mizuki look like sisters...

Kanon looks really nice in her picture, I like her smile. Also Riho looks really young, I think it's just the picture though.

Erina just looks frightened most of the time, but that doesn't annoy me...yet. She might just need some time to get used to actually being an idol. If anyone looks bored in those pictures, it's Riho - she almost looks a little smug. She's awesome and she already knows it, which is fine by me as long as she doesn't become the next Reina.

I hope she doesn't either. I'm telling y'all Riho will be the next Maki. She'll be the stand-offish, kinda smug-but-really-just-knows-she's-a-star chick who never mingles too well with the other group members for her own genius.

Maki was much more of a sweetheart despite all this, but I'm hoping for a new MM bitch to offset all the girly cuteness. I had hope in Aika when she joined, but she somehow turned into another cutesy type.

Maybe we'll get lucky and someone in 9th gen will miraculously have a voice like Maki's. Mizuki sounds nice in what little I've heard of her, but Riho, Kanon and Erina all fail to impress in vocals right now. A voice like Rika's wouldn't be too bad either, though. Someone who isn't exactly a good singer but is still enjoyable to listen to.

Surprising to hear you think Riho isn't a good singer, for 12 years old I thought she was outstanding.

The big problem with Maki is that she graduated too early and everyone knows it, she hasn't been successful at any stage of her solo career despite joining avex.

She should have stayed in Momusu, become the leader and at a later date gone solo and she would have been in a much stronger place.

As it was she left and tried to do the sexy solo singer thing when she was still too young to pull it off and failed.

Japanese people are forgiving but they remember the past well and unless she snags an amazing hit song she will always be the slightly failed momusu kid.

There were 1st and 2nd gen girls in MM until mid 2005, Maki couldn't have been a leader.

Maki had some of the best concerts in H!P as a soloist, she was absolutely ready.

It's impossible to live up to golden era H!P, even if you are Maki.

If she waited longer to go solo, I would imagine that she'd have even less success because of how music sales (and H!P's budget) went down as a whole. Besides, the only true successful long term H!P soloist was Aya, everyone else was less consistent with song production quality and sales (or snatched away after her 1st album).

Anyway, back to the 9s...

I'm going to guess their codenames for concert goods.

Riho: Rh or RF?

Erina: 777 (birthday)

Kanon: CN

Mizuki: St. (because her name means saint or sage)

No idea about glowstick colors.
