It's the other way around - she gets all of those lines because of her talent. If they gave out lines based on popularity alone, MM would be a Sayu and Reina show instead. She does, of course, have 10 years more experience than the 9th gen, so it's natural for her to be doing better than them for now.



I don't even feel like I saw Kanon in this performance, I'll have to watch again. But props to the 9th gen for singing live on this one, especially when the verses of the song are so heavily edited in the recording. And props to Aika for doing what she can from the chair, I'm sure that must be frustrating. Risa was awesome in this performance. I feel like MM will be forced to change it's style a bit after Ai leaves, but I hope that at least when they perform the older songs Risa takes the majority of her lines instead of Reina.

I think a lot of the awkward-ness comes from the song itself. Only You is obviously supposed to be a 'cool' song and 9th gen look like little kids trying really hard to be adults.

I watched the live version of Only You and the "Yell for you" sounded a lot like "L for you". (I really couldn't hear the "Y" sound. >.<)



Also, I'm giving two thumbs up to Aika for being such a trooper and performing during the TV live (although on a chair), despite the injury.
