It's the most fun I had in a multiplayer game in a long time. Probably since the last drunk 4-player Mario Kart DD sessions ~4 years ago.
 
I also finished South Park - Stick of truth yesterday, which was really good. However, it only took me 11 hours (in-game timer) to finish the game and do all the sidequests.
Despite the short length for a RPG, it still felt complete and satisfying.

Triad Wars, the supposed sequel to Sleeping Dogs, was today announced to be an online multiplayer-only title. I feel so disappointed and pissed off. This was one of my favourite games in the recent years and I was really looking forward to see a proper continuation.

You can sign up for a closed beta on the official site, but even if I get the key I suspect it will end up just like with Survarium where I played it once or twice and then forgot.

So for some reason, the opening of Mikaeri Bijin made me remember the beginning of Dead or Alive Ultimate https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bHnPQPlBv2Q and oh dear, the feels, how I miss this game. I can't remember if we sold or threw it away when out cousin cut the cords to our Xbox and ruined it, but I really want to play again even though it was such a simple game.

Since I've finished Alpha Protocol and Deadly Premonition (both promising and interesting games, but with huge techincal difficulties), I've decided to start some other "backlog" games and thus played 5 hours of Path of Exile today. Of course I am a necromancer, which is called "witch" in this game.

I saw a few Lucasarts titles being added to GoG, but do you think they (easily) support flight sticks?

Yeah I was just in the menus and you can pretty much fully customize the controls. I think TIE fighter even supports HOTAS. It's not that bad even with a gamepad plugged in with the default settings.

I didn't try earlier, but now nothing would happen when I hit the button - only after I disabled and re-enabled Adblock and NoScript it worked showed a confirmation page that a verification email has been sent.

I received an email right away, you need to click the included link and then it will show you another confirmation page, saying basically "your order has been accepted". I didn't get the actual beta key yet though.

EDIT: Got the code now. You can have it if you couldn't get it to work still.

Guilty Gear Xrd is the absolutely most gorgeous fighting game I've ever played. All the anime-based games like the yearly Dragon Ball and Naruto games really need to take some cues from it.

Shelter is an artistic game done right.
It actually has gameplay, there is a challenge to it and you can perform good or bad, depending on how well you judge individual situations. However, it is completely linear.
You wouldn't call MGS a "walking simulator", just because you have to sneak around people.

I guess the "walking simulator" tag is overused a bit for games that don't really deserve it. I still think Dear Esther was pretty good tho.

If you like any kind of electronic music, you absolutely should play Fract OSC.
Turn off the lights in your room and put on your headphones. It's truly a very special experience.
The moment you solve a puzzle, the music gets into the correct rythm and the volume turns up is truly amazing.
