Green Fields isn't turning out as awesome as I had hoped. I hope Yuka gets over her shyness, it gives her this awkward look about her. She really looks out of place. But Aika and Saki are probably the tamest and nicest girls in H!P so I know she's probably in good hands.

Harvest and DIY single covers are cool. I have been seeing a lot of peter pan collars lately-are they really fashionable in Japan these days?



I only song I've listened to was Peaberry and I have to admitt I love it. It reminds me of Zero kara Hajimaru Seishun.



Is there a possiblity they will be on the US itunes? It's becoming a trend these days that side projects pop up like the BeKiMaSu single and Reborn eleven too.

Aww, looks like Haruna's working hard to match up to these girls. Don't know why, but it seems more like Tsunku (or dude in charge) put her in a dance group to challenge her to get better. No one wants to be the dud in a group of awesome dancers after all, I'd think.



And I'm seriously getting attached to Forest for Rest (fore fore fore fore~), so I hope the PV keeps the awesome all the way through.

Yeah, I definitely think that's what his intentions were. She really seemed to have an attitude of wanting to match the girls and work hard! It looks like such a cute video, although I don't understand the transition from the outside shots to the dance hall haha

I'm really impressed with Haruna. She's got a great personality and she works really hard. I'd definitely give her the most improved award.



I like this group. I'm not sure they're enough to get me into the Satoyama movement thing, though. I grew up on a farm. I'm not super interested in watching people garden/farm since I used to try to do whatever I could to get out of doing it.

This DIY video is great, it gives me flashbacks to 2003 videos when they usually had good video direction.

Well, they kind of took this formula and added daytime elements + more youthful.



There's nothing wrong with that, but I hope they make day and night versions. It's weird to have subdued and moody club scenes coloration/night time, AND THEN GOOD MORNING BRIGHT SUNNY FIELD LETS GROW THESE CROPS. The switch is kind of jarring, but I do appreciate both types of scenes. I just want them to make it work as 2 versions. One cool thing was when you could actually see the color filter transition during Maimi's car scene.

And according to Jplop, Green Fields will be playing instruments. (Don't get your hopes up, Aika's on Recorder, Saki's got an Ocarina and Miyazaki has Keyboard. I'd expect nothing less for a group with Aika in it.)







Green Fields and Harvest performed as the opening acts today at the MM concert, so we should be hearing concert rips soon.

Even though I haven't heard it and I might even like it, it almost seems like it would've been better to let Miyazaki play piano and the other girls just sing. Recorder seems a little elementary school. Or is it more of a big deal in Japan?

Harvest is awesome, not just the covers but the lineup has a lot of energy, so I expect something energetic from them! DIY is awesome, but I agree with PuMo, there's going to be a lot of whiplash in the PV with the sudden changes to the scenery.

It matches the green fields! Most recorders are closer to a flesh tone, they went with the least pervy option. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hahaha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':hahaha:' />

How is that even possible, they add an additional twist to the group and that makes it more boring? Also, a bunch of well known musicians have used recorders in songs. Apparently The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendricks and a bunch of others.

Well, it basically sounds like a late career Matsuura song. The Harvest song is like if Tanpopo had a very cheesy musical. Oh, toward the end, you can see Saki playing the Ocarina of Lime.

She said it's Yuka's first time in front of the fans and asked her how she felt about it, Yuka replied that she was so nervous she can't remember the first performance but she could relax a little and she remembers the second performance



She then went on to say that they are playing instruments and not dancing and blah blah blah aikaisboringasshit100%ofthetime yadda yadda etc etc



Basically the same bland ass Aika BS she has been spewing ever since she joined.

Whee, I haven't listened to the previews yet 'cause I'm lazy and wanna wait for full video and such, but I'm just so excited to see Aika in something again. She looks great in those photos, and all I remember about my bout with a recorder when I was a kid is that my parents hid it from me for weeks to get it to shut up, so anything she'll spew out will be better than that! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /weeeh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':weeeh:' />



I don't get the excitement about this Miyazaki chick though. Has she done anything important in the past to make her worth excitement, or is she just exciting 'cause she's something new and fresh?

She was in the 2nd gen S/mileage auditions, and then she was in an UFP audition earlier in the year. She was older and looked kind of like JunJun which is why I think a lot of people liked her.

I guess it's relaxing...but I love hyper happy songs, and with "Ambitious" in the title I expected that. Like everyone else, this could have been AMAZING as a rap. WHAT IS THIS, A LULLABY?!



I definitely like DIY the best...and I do love the old school feel of Harvest.
