The Girls Live Thread

Everything was at least good in theory except for Sayuki's headdress and Tomoko's shirt. That shirt is completely shapeless and would look hideous on anyone, really.  This should be a regular segment, I'd love to see all the different outfits the girls could put together for each other.

It's Miyabi's turn to wreck havoc on some Musume. (It's interesting, the one I feel bad for most is Haruna, followed by Zukki.)
But what I'd like to know is, why are doubling up on some outfits? Did they run out of ideas or was it a buy one get one free sale? First Haruna now Miyabi.
 
Tune in next week when Risako turns C-ute into an army of little Rii-chans. (Oh god, that would be scary and awesome at the same time.)
 
Future episodes have Yuka and Nakky playing fashion designers, I wait with anticipation for whoever gets Berryz.

Uhhh, wat was all that lol. Separate I might like all the outfits on their own (minus Kudo's hat) but together it look like there's not theme.... There's a general "western fashion" theme, but other than that, not much. Kanon's was okay on the top, but did nothing for her on the bottom. Once again, Kudo's hat.... I just.... Miyabi omg lol

Just that, they all look good separate, but together they look like a bunch of different styles, was that Miyabi's intention?
Erina & Riho's were my favorites

The outfits were obviously Miyabi-esque, but I felt like a lot of them (basically all except Haruna's and Haruka's) were something that I could see them wearing on their day off.  They just needed to fit a bit better which could have been done with a little different styling (and hemming Kanon's skirt/dress up, I get that she has big boobs but that doesn't mean she needs such long skirts all the time).

Isn't that kind of the point though with these segments?  I don't think they're really looking for idol outfits.

Isn't that kind of the point though with these segments?  I don't think they're really looking for idol outfits.

Risako's turn and I must say, she put the most effort into group outfits. But first Miyabi and now Risako. Apparently Berryz never got the, it's awkward to dance in long skirts memo.
Also some news on Musume's single release. Berryz perform their new single.

I think Risako did a really good job... And if each took an hour that means she spent at like 5 hours working on modifying their outfits. She also listened to the song to get an image. I'm impressed.
 
Also, with the opening performance... I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel like Berryz has lost their spark. When performing, they just seem... flat. It also kinda feels like some of the girls lost their singing voice from when they were younger. It's just hard to get into them lately.

Wow those C's took really long time! Go Risako for powering through that kind of work, it gets boring and tedious unless you like sewing.
It was sweet that C-ute said they were all going to buy the jackets she made :)

Smileage on the other hand are on the UF shit list or something. Did they all have like a mass orgy and forget to invite the big boss so they are getting punished? I don't understand why they are getting shafted so badly. I want to see Kanon pick clothes out for a group!

They've been touring and they all have school in some form. Maybe that's why they haven't filmed for the show yet. Tsunku mentioned the theme of their new single so once it's formally announced and previewed they'll probably show up.

LOL forever that Mai can dress Maasa better than H!P's official stylists. Although I think her outfit would have been even more figure flattering if she had tucked the sweater into the skirt to accentuate her waist.  This is why I say Maasa and Zukki are half the size H!P dresses them to be.
 
Miyabi's outfit would have been so much less hideous with a different sweater, LOL.

Seeing them in action they're not that bad, Maimi's and Mai's are kind of questionable, but Airi's is similar to her actual style and Nakky's and Chisato's are things I'd wear (maybe not those exact patterns, but...).  I really want to customize my clothes now, and how Yuka made the ribbon things was awesome and I'd never even thought that you could buy wire intended for that purpose.
