It's the same meaning as キレる (get mad), just a different conjugation. Can you link the full entry for more context? The にも indicates that people are getting mad at the idiocy. So it means "Lately everyone is even getting mad at the idiocy!"



The only reason I can think of why this would be いい感じ is if she's talking about being on TV and such - if she was describing a tsukkomi/boke situation, as in everyone is doing a good job of being a tsukkomi (i.e. getting mad at the idiot boke). Or maybe she's just in general describing a good banter among the group?

Actually, it is a totally fascinating example of how passive aggressive everyone in S/mileage has been since the new member auditions. I wouldn't be surprised if she's being gleeful that people are pissed at them for being really silly these days, as Al thinks.

I can't gather a single guess via googling at all. My best guess is that it means something like, "we went through the whole set" (cause it literally means "we passed through the block").



And in the latter half, she's talking about icing cookies. I can't understand this really basic passage:

It made me want to run away

Okay, I feel like I'm getting worse instead of better at this.

Don't worry, I think it's a phase. When I first started Sayu I was like "PSHH SO EASY" and then I went through this period where I was asking people for help on every other entry. Now it's smoothed out and I can get through almost every post without running into any major roadblocks.

I found a random actress's blog that explained what this phrase means in relation to a play. It refers to dividing all of the scenes (or songs in S/mileage's case) into chunks called blocks, then rehearsing block by block. So "We went through the show in blocks." in this case.

And in the latter half, she's talking about icing cookies. I can't understand this really basic passage:

"Icing" here refers to icing an injury, so:



氷水に足をつけて

熱いお湯に足をつけて

の繰り返し！

逃げ出したくなったー

Repeating the pattern of

sticking my leg in cold water,

then sticking it in hot water!

I googled "icing" in katakana and only saw images of cookie icing, so it made so little sense to me. Why is she sticking her legs in ice water? The toilet thing came from where I found the answer on chiebukuro. The answerer said something like "You go to the bathroom and think clearly and calmly and then wash you hands and to become pure..." of course I was too lazy to actually read what he wrote about the toilet and just focused on the meaning of 清き一票 and just threw the rest in into google translate <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Actually I read it wrong and you can still add posts and stuff. BUT, please don't do that. For best results just log out. The downtime has a lot to do with testing the server resources, so the less use the site gets, the better.

Just noticed that the blog visits have dropped. I'm guessing it is because the Serend blogs are done? But, lots and lots of translations are really behind (the regularly translated ones and not like, Tanaka or the OGs). What is going on with Takahashi? We left off in late May.

Yeah. Rokun was doing a number of the translation and hasn't updated in about a week, and some members we have more than one person that say they want to translate, but seems like no one does, like Takahashi and Reina.

People get burned out and bored and just stop.



I also think it is because of summer holiday. People aren't online as much or as regularly.

That's what editors like me are for. A person could do one perfect translation, or a handful of quick translations, and I can go and fix anything wrong in the quick translations. We can turn quantity into quality!!!

Al, I know you really want all blogs to be translated, especially the ones of the popular girls, but your expectations are a little unrealistic. This is a volunteer project, people are going to work on the blogs that they want to work on. If you really want more blogs to be done and for them to be done regularly, you're going to need to find a way to bring in some new translators. As it is the people we have are either too busy to take on another blog or just aren't interested in those members.



I also don't follow the logic behind having people do rushed poor translations that will then be magically turned into quality by editors. If the editors are that good, they should just pick up a blog and start doing translations of their own. If editors aren't good enough to do a translation from start to finish, then they really shouldn't be doing any substinative editing. If it's simply an issue of editors not having time to be translators, then I don't understand how they have time to do tons of edits to a sloppy draft translation.
