I wouldn't mind them updating some old album songs. Some of them could work really well with this Morning Musume.

There's a vicious rumor going around that a certain group of "fans" hated the 5th gen so much that they refused to ever support it.

I don't want to believe the 5th gen is cursed. The 9th and 10th added life to the group, that and advertising. As much as I adored the older line up, I love this one more. Pyoko ultra scared me a bit but the songs from the last two years have been my favorites.

Based on concert attendance and album sales, I think it's still safe to say that Platinum-Era Musume had more fans than the current line-up.



This line-up sells more singles due to more aggressive promotion. Hopefully it will lead to bigger and greater things, however, since I like the current line-up a lot.

That generally refers to the long period where we did not have a lineup change.

Yeah, that's WHY they're the Platinum Era to begin with.

I think the confusion comes from the fact that we had another era called Golden. Which is pretty much named because people liked the songs and they sold well, right? Also, it contained Maki who had "gold" references in the titles of her releases several times.(after MM of course)

On a side note, if the single was released this week, it would rank 1st, because this week first place sold around 65k...
