I think this is actually the first time - we just heard about it way in advance, and now she's actually starting the job. She just left Gatas, so it seems she's officially a full time announcer now.

no, two years ago she had just a one-day opportunity to visit/see what announcers do, and then got accepted with whatever exams (and interviews?) she had to take for the position. So she's just officially starting the job now.

Ah Ok, I was confused. I saw the topic was about Jang so followed it from her and didn't see where the old-as-dinosaur egg was mentioned ^^. Sorry. One of my friends had the theory that maybe she was studying idols as a thesis in college but... yeah then she sorta continued and probably now just doesn't want to lose what job she has.

Her profile says she's a graduate student, but it doesn't specify what she's studying. But she was in their age bracket for auditioning back in '09. I was just surprised they ended up taking someone as old as her.

And, dammit, Sayu's new DVD is heartbreaking. All the recent single member dvds they've been putting out have been about 80% looking cute to music and 20% interviews, but Sayu's is nearly the opposite with the majority being interviews with her.
