Yeah she's not great. That'd be a problem. We'd all love a generation of ALL good singers but has that EVER happened? There's a not-great singer in every generation. First gen comes closest, but Kaori has a very limited range, she CAN sing in lower tones though.



And third gen doesn't count, clearly. :/ Of course Maki is perfection. There will never, ever be another Maki in H!P. So we can just kiss that right off.

I really think Tsunku is looking for a strong vocalist this time. Someone with a deeper voice than Riho.



Other than Karin, I'm not too familiar with the vocal skills of the Kenseggs. So I'll reserve judgment on who should get in. I thought Fuyuka was terrible during the S/Mileage auditions, but she may have improved since then.







It's a year out of date (mid-2011), and the photos are gone, but I still think this blog entry is the best analysis of the skill level of the eggs.



Hope the author does an updated version in the future.

So it's Karin, Nanami, Sayuki, Rie, and Fuyuka who are auditioning for sure? I hope some of others audition, too. But out of those, I want Karin (she has gotten less cute, but she's cute enough and I love her voice and she's a good, consistent singer blah blah blah). I wouldn't say that I want Sayuki or Rie, but I wouldn't mind if they made it. I don't want Nanami and I most definitely do not want Fuyuka.

The "older" Eggs will definitely audition, considering how young the age requirement is. Next time auditions roll around, Kanae will be too old. And Sayuki and Rie will both be 16 next year.

I've decided that Oda Sakura looks like a very tall Hagiawara Mai. (Has this been mentioned before? I don't remember.)



Also, Banana (It's hard to be serious when you say Banana.), What's wrong with Nanami that you don't like her?

I wouldn't say I dislike her. It's just that her singing isn't too good and I know a lot of people find her very cute, but for whatever reason her looks don't appeal to me. Sayuki and Rie are also not really unappealing visually, but they make up for it with their singing (especially Sayuki).

Yeah, the H!P wiki is pretty anal about everything especially the eggs and they are brought in by groups but usually a staggered group. Like one month one girl will come in and a few months later another will come in, but they are all in the same generation.



Just some silly facts but Haruka was a 9th generation Egg and Mizuki was a 4th generation egg.

I was about to post all this in the spam thread, and then I remembered we have this one:



claneski on H!O made an trainee list with their info. Bloodtype and birthdays.



Their fall concert has also been announced. They started rehearsals today.



They're also having FC events on 9/20 and 9/21. No title yet but the performer list is up:



Sept 20 1st show- Kaneko, Miyamoto, Yoshihashi & Mogi

Sept 20 2nd show- Kaneko, Miyamoto, Ogawa, Oda & Murota

Sept 21 3rd show- Takagi, Tanabe, Hamaura, Taguchi & Okamura

Sept 21 4th show- Takagi, Tanabe, Otsuka, Kosuga



There are some girls missing. I don't know why.



And they will be performing at Shiodome AX 2012 on 8/27



And lastly, if you want to see some photos of them from the summer concert, here you go. Only Rie, Sayuki, Nanami, Fuyuka, Aina and Kurumi have been at all the concerts, but it looks like everyone was at the most recent one.

I think she's gone and they havent bothered with an announcement. She hasn't been seen since the S/mileage auditions and that was a year ago.

It seems like a good setlist. I wish they would upload videos. They could probably get people pumped up about the future of H!P even moreso if they would do that.

The concerts used to be released on DVD, but they were FC only. Our best bet is some recordings and someone might be nice enough to point out who's singing.

Mogi looks like an old lady with that haircut. Everyone else is super cute, even Sayuki, whose face I find awkward (sorry D:)

Riko should not be nicknamed RikoRiko because it's a knock off of RihoRiho. It should be Yamariko or something. She does look like Sayu there though, and Nomura reminds me a lot of Sakichi.



I really like Kurumi now. She's adorable and has a good personality.

Ayano, Natsumi and Riko need to be in an egg group, stat. They're all too cute.
