Vocally I'd say, both S/mileage and JuicyJ are better then Berryz and C-ute out of the gate. I was talking more along the lines of what Tsunku chooses to give them as far as song choice goes.

Hey both Mai and Saki have gotten a lot better. Not as good as Chisa has gotten but improved none the less. I think C-ute just works really well together. IF J=J can stay together as long as C-ute has then I think they will probably be pretty bad ass.

I feel like an asshole because I'm not seeing this vocal talent / cohesiveness that everyone is talking about LOL pretty much every line of that performance had a couple scattered off notes in it! They don't sound awful (for idols) but I'm not particularly impressed, either. That said, YAAAY SAX and cute outfits!

Farrah, I just put idols on a different level when it comes to judging vocals anymore. I know they're not amazing but comparatively and because it's their debut I think they did pretty well live is all.

Honestly, I went back to listen to it to see what too because I didn't remember hearing anything major, but now that I'm paying attention, almost all the singing has something wrong with it (ending flat mostly). Most people will probably take it as the group's inexperience. They'll get better with most practice though, but I wouldn't call them the best group in H!P anytime soon.
