Hey everyone~



As rokun said, I contacted him and rob about translating Ai-chan's blog. I've mainly been translating MM-related articles and interviews on my H!O blog since no one else seems to do those. However, seeing that the regular translators of her blog are both behind (here and KaitoDoraemon over at H!O), I thought I'd help out, especially since she's been blogging like crazy and it's the week of her graduation.



Anyway, I've got about 8 more of her recent posts translated and ready to be uploaded (including some of her long q&a posts). I'm hoping to get most, if not all, of them done this weekend so that we're caught up, and then I can keep it updated from then. She mentioned that she's gonna keep taking questions until the 28th or so, so I expect to see more of her crazy long q&a posts...



So, if you'll take me, how do I get started?

I was a little confused from your post, but are you only helping us out in the short term? ie. Only helping until the 28th or something? Or were you interested in the long term? Our Takahashi tranlsator won't be able to translate anymore, it seems, so you'd be free to take her post.

Just fyi: the blog plugin does not seem to be uploading the pictures properly for Mano. I just checked and the last 3 entries have broken links.



I can go in an update them manually tomorrow if it doesn't auto-update.

I noticed that too. I'm at the office now so I can't fix it and tomorrow is my vacation and tonight is last minute packing so I'm not sure I'll be able to fix it anytime soon. I'll let you know when it does fix though.

eri - This is so five years late, but I think I figured out that weird sentence from Takeuchi's blog:

The things that I think "This one thing, I won't be beaten at by anyone~" are the amount of TV I watch and putting in more effort than anyone else.

I'm sorry but, apparently I've gotten myself into a really intense program. I am working/studying from 7am to bedtime M-F and then have "cultural" activities on most Saturdays.



I'll try to update the blog translations about once a week on Sunday unless someone wants to pick them up.

Speaking of which, has Ai finished blogging? Her (Japanese) blog hasn't been updated since graduation and it does have a tone of finality about it, but maybe she's just taking a vacation for a bit.

^ There's no official word or anything, but it seems she's been off vacationing (like in Korea) the past few days. That might be why she hasn't blogged... I wouldn't close up shop just yet. We can hope maybe =/

I agree with the need for a few names to be shifted around. I think Berry and aine are still on vacation though, so that will have to wait for their return.

Sorry, I meant it as, you're free to translate whoever you want, not who eri translated! I just mentioned this because you were iffy before about translating for Sayu anymore. But yes, please do whatever you prefer. Hey, since Ai-chan isn't blogging yet (she did say she'll resume pretty soon) and Gaki-san doesn't blog much, I can help eri out with Mano's blog. I've actually never read her blog before, but I just took a look and it seems she only blogs once or twice a day anyway, so I think I should be able to do them until eri can resume. From what I can gather, there's a plugin that automatically makes drafts for her entries?? strawberryjam, if you could tell me how to edit them since they're under eri's acct, that would be great~



Also, I know rob is translating Ikuta's entries on the reborn blog, but is anyone translating the other members' entries? If not, and if we can find a place for them here (maybe under special translations?), I could do them, too.



Lastly, my friend KaitoDoraemon at H!O, who used to translate Ai-chan's blog up until a few weeks ago when he asked me to take over temporarily, has come back and I asked him if he would be interested in putting his translations over here when Ai-chan resumes. He said yes, so I asked him to come post in this thread <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /happy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='^_^' /> So hopefully we hear from him soon. (He's not fully confident in his translations, but I told him I'd help him out.) If you guys like his work, it would free me up a little and I can help out with other blogs~ Of course, whatever happens, I would be happy to continue doing Ai-chan's.

If you plan on translating them on a regular basis, it's best to put them in their own category. Who would you be interested in translating for? I can prepare their categories.

Sorry for the confusion on Sayu - I was iffy on translating her when I was under the impression that no one was reading, but then you clarified that she's one of the more popular pages. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> That sounds conceited, but I just didn't want to spend a whole bunch of time translating someone for it to go unread, you know? So I'm fine with it now :)



Since there are quite a few of these Reborn blogs (I had no idea!), kurikaesu - would you mind if I took Kanon? I previously laid claim to Riho somewhere a million pages back in this thread, but now Kanon has fully stolen my heart. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> If you do mind, I can do Karin's. :) Now that Kikka's blog is sadly too boring to be worth translating 95% of the time and Kago is on indefiniate hiatus, I should have plenty of time for one in addition to Sayu.
