I just cannot help shake the feeling that we're going to get an Airi graduation announcement at the New Years concert. So much stuff surrounding her life and situation is pointing that way. But, thankfully, C-ute has gotten such a decent new fan base in the last year that they'll be able to keep going without her.

What about her life and situation is pointing that way? I haven't been keeping up with her blog.

She's graduating high school but hasn't said a word about college, one way or the other, but she's always been very education-minded in her blog. There's also that book they just put out about her that's a retrospective of her whole career. Then we've got Chisa and Maimi being pushed towards the front, and a whole slew of new female fans that prefer the other members over her, which is pretty much the polar opposite of the male wota.

Hmm... despite the new fans, I think that would still be a pretty huge shake up for the group. At this point if anyone left C-ute or Berryz I think it would be the beginning of the end for both groups. Hopefully I'm wrong =/

I think it was an episode of Hello! Pro Time that where Maimi, Nakky, and Mai (I think just those three) were talking about S/mileage getting a second generation, and how they would hate if that happened to °C-ute, especially at this point, and that 5 members is perfect, and if anyone else left the group itself would probably just disband. So I doubt Airi's graduating.

Sayu:

Sayumin always hits you with a surprising design, but this time she's a woman turning 24 in the Year of the Snake, so she boldly went with a snake wearing a ribbon. The number on the back is 24 because that's how old she'll be, and the "Papipupepo" is inspired by her solo song "Lala no Pipipi" (lol).



Reina:

As you'd expect from the star illustrator, Reina-chan drew her usual character with a snake. The number on the back is a "1" just like Reina-chan who is number one at everything. The words express her phrase "otsukareina" in English.



Mizuki:

Even though she's on a different vector from Reina-chan, Fuku-chan is a star illustrator too. The snake is holding a microphone, how cute! On the back she wrote her usual "PonPon" and the number "29" is "Fuku" or no, is it "Tsugu"!? (lol)



Eripon:

Eripon put all of her effort into changing her member color from purple to light green. (lol) The lines she's always saying during concert MCs are here on this T-shirt! On the back she matches Fuku-chan with "PonPon." The "21" on the back is out of respect for that person she loves to death. She's unwavering.



Riho:

The "384" on the back is her staple "Sayashi" and for the writing RihoRiho went with a simple "Riho," but the print on the front is her best work! Sayamarunrun is sitting on top of the zodiac snake. This is cute. And in small letter she wrote "Nyoro nyoro pon." Omg!



Kanon S.:

Kanon-chan went with her usual number "985." This is her birthday 1998/8/5 abbreviated in three numbers. On the back she surprisingly wrote "Senaka" (Back)... just as you'd expect of her (lol). The illustration is of the 11 members of Musume, but they all have Suuzuki-san faces. Bwahahaha.



Harunan:

Iikubo-san went from chocolate to honey. Apparently the words on the back are taken from her honey color and her phrase "your honey." All 4 of the 10th generation members wrote the same number "107" which is 10th generation + lucky seven. And then the illustration is of Honey-chan who can even beat a snake. She's invincible, yup.



Ayumin:

Ayumin has really improved at drawing and illustration. This time she came up with a great idea. Let's try putting a check next to the name we want to call her and wearing this to events. As for her number, look at Iikubo Haruna-chan's description. The word says "Daaa!" (lol).



Masaki:

Maa-chan is Maa-chan, after all. It's a simple design with nothing but words. At any rate you can feel her overflowing love. As for the words on the back, if we think of Maa-chan yelling this we feel happy too. Check Iikubo-san's description about the number.



Duu:

An individualistic and strongly asserted "Duu." If you really think about it, this design can also be read as "DOduu." This is the love of the 10th generation, isn't it? On the back one last time she "Ruuuu!!!" after last time/s "HAAA!" and the "DOOO!" from the time before. If you have the previous two, you should get the third for your set. Read Iikubo-san's description for information about the number on the back.



Sakura:

Her member color was just decided, and this is Sakura-chan's first time making a T-shirt. She played it safe and picked "390" for the numbers on the back, read "Sakura." It's a little bit of a stretch!? (lol) The design on the front has a lot of impact with the "oodiiee" (ODA). Is she spreading her wings in the world!?

[Note: It's a stretch because 39 can easily be read as "Saku" but 0 is usually read as "zero" or "rei", not ra.]



I'll come back to the other groups if I get downtime again. (If anyone cares xD)

The first page, so much awesome from the groups. That Berryz photo. (Chinami!)



I'm a little confused about Sakura in the first photo. Is she sitting on something red, or are those her shorts? And if they are her shorts, how the hell is her leg like that?



Saki and Chisato look like they've put on a pound or two in the face, but Mai and Chisato's hair is fabulous. Maimi and Airi got over photoshopped in the eyes.



And it took a year, but they finally fixed Rina's face! It's a Christmas miracle! Also, Kana isn't pale dead ghost anymore! (Go find Kana's Chirstmas photos and you'll see what I mean.)

I don't know what's going on with those poses in the first photo, but everyone looks good and it's adorable and weird, so I love it xD



Sakura's leg does look weird though. I have no idea what's going on there.



In the MM group photo everyone looks great except Sakura and Reina. Sakura just needs more practice, Reina just needs to hurry up and graduate because she couldn't look less enthused.



Miyabi's pose is so old lady catalogue modeling. But otherwise they all look cute, no derp faces so yay.



Chisato and Nacky look like they put on a LOT of weight in the face. (Before anyone says anything, I'm not saying they're fat, they just look bigger than before). I feel like that has to be some issue with the angles or the poses or something, it's just too drastic of a change. Although I guess I don't pay that much attention to either of them to be sure of that.



Aika and Mano both look alright. Nothing exciting or terrible there.



S/mileage is adorable. Kana's face is sort of on the borderline of derp and cute, but I love how you can always see a huge grin in her eyes.

I just noticed that... weird. I could understand why she might come after Akari and Rina, since they have seniority over her in H!P from their time as eggs, but that doesn't explain why she's after Meimi too.



Why are Miyabi and Risako styled like old ladies? They're both kinda workin it though. Overall this is a really good (edited together) group shot. The only ones with derp face are Saki S. and Sakura, who I think still gets a pass.

The one for the concert 9th gen were introduced at had three empty circles. For now I'm assuming the they're just referring to Reina's band. Tsunku did say he wanted them ready for this concert.
