From what I've read she apparently already suffered from depression. I guess that along with DSP pushing her to the side after she worked so hard had a part to play?

Damn, that's really sad... It must've been very hard for her, feeling discouraged every time she didn't make the cut. That's sad.

It's been over a month since this but there is this new group called Gfriend who released Glass bead, a song that may remind you of SNSD' Into the new world because of its chorus and the really energetic choreo (I'm linking you to the dance version because I don't think cute close-ups should overshadow the choreography)
That said, it's a good song and their dancing is amazing

Also one of the members looks like THE SAME as Jessica

I like that "ah-ha-ha-ha" in the refrain, it sounds really cool.
The rest of the song isn't bad either, too bad it has a worthless rap part.

I really like this song, the lyrics are nice and the rest of their album is pretty good too :) Glass Bead does sound similar to Into The New World but I don't mind really :)

My friend's son, Cory, is in the Korean Culture Exchange group at the University of North Texas and they did some dance covers of K-pop songs for YouTube.

I searched for the song and it is 'Come & Get It". But only the 1st line of ICC is what makes me think of Selena's song

Also now I was thinking that when a K-pop group wants to make an MV on an outside they have to go to de US.
I'm still thinking but from the recent years I can only say T-ara N4's Jeonwon Diary and BTS' War of hormones are in S.Korea,
the rest are located in what looks to be the US (Gun, Happy, Hurricane, Ice Cream Cake, Solo Day, and many others)

I don't know I just find it curious lol
