Oh, I knew Yorico was the original singer, I guess it was phrased awkwardly in that sentence. My understanding of the album theme was that the (not-so-random) people involved all had songs that Tsunku produced artists covered, I wasn't suggesting that Sonim did it first.

I don't think it neccesarily has to be depressing like that. As someone who has lost a loved one recently, I can understand why Maki would want to get back to work again. Sometimes taking a break can make things worse, it can get you in the habit of stewing in your own misery, basically.

We've forgotten to love TNX. Since that live MM Gakuen DVD in February, and their album in March (with 35 tracks including, "Perfect Styling" and "Skin Care Points"?). Don't forget February's Princess Chatters cheerleading DVD.



Anyway, 6/16. New Ogawa Mana single for the anime that seems to still be going strong.

And The Possible are releasing a single with someone else, THE Possible with Oto No Moto – Yabe~Nabe~ na Atsuryoku Be~na, it's being released June 2nd

And Canary Club is finally to release their next single, tentative title is ダイスッキ！or Daisukki!, the source is not trustworthy though.

On May 30, Tsunku released a download-only song called "Tsubasa."

The 29th is Tsunku Day, so more songs are gonna be released?



29th of course is Tsu=2 and ku=9, just like 29-sensei.

Even if the title could be fake, the TNX site has mentioned a 8/4 release from them on the main page for quite a while, so new music is at least a reality. It's funny, they don't even put the group name on the ad. It's just "8/4 release" + picture of 8 girls wearing black & white.

Actually they mention it in Japanese (キャナーリ倶楽部). Though it's interesting how they introduce it with Ogawa Mana and the Mecha Mote gig before anything else.

Apparently this is three-week-old news, but H!P is finally venturing into High-Def releases with Blu-Rays of the last Winter concerts coming out 8/4.

FFS, 5000 yen when I have just bought them in ordinary DVD format <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... yangry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />.



I will probably weaken and buy them if they are region free because I'm sad like that.



On a slightly related topic anyone know why, except for a small handful, the concert DVDs are not released in 5.1 Dolby. I can't imagine it is because UFA are too bloody tight to spend the cost of mixing a 5.1 track.... that would be just ridiculous.

OKay so this could be very BAD news or very GOOD news, and it's semi-confirmed from one of those little paper fliers.



Buono will be releasing a Best of album, Buono! BEST on 8/10. From the above website, "The album will contain 2 CDs + DVD, as well as 19 songs, including remixes, which will come from singles and albums. The DVD will contain a Making Of video."

Yay, Airi Suzuki's new Photobook has finally been announced for August 20th right when I started losing hope for one this year. It's called Toukoubi(登校日), as in school days I think. Correct me if my memory failed me!

None that I know of. They are probably doing like you say and waiting to see how the concerts do.
