Brilliant idea! Dream Musume should do a sub-unit release album too, or if that's too much, even if only as B-sides to the main DMM single. Totally late in answering. I finally got around to translating this. It's crazy that people think she's 8 months pregnant (which is more like 7 months to Westerners, Japanese count a 10 month pregnancy). I'd never seen a picture of her stomach before, so I'd always assumed she wasn't much further along then when she announced it (so about 3 months or so is where I thought she was). I guess she either waited awhile before announcing it or didn't find out for some time.

You should be watching Suugaku Joshi Gakuen. I hear some brilliant people are translating it.



The main thread of the series it that Reina's character's sister disappeared shortly after becoming the school's top mathematician, so Reina is there to find out what happened to her. Risa is a teacher there, but she was also a student there and friend of Reina's character's sister during that time (most likely played by Rika, but it still hasn't been revealed yet), so most likely there will be flashbacks of Risa, Rika, Kei and Kaori during their time as students there, since they're wearing older style school uniforms in those pictures.



The pictures themselves are from some kind of social game they made for the series which you can only play if you're a Gree member.

That's a really cool plan to secretly reveal them, although Risa as the teacher is already a pretty big stretch for me. She's hardly older than Sayu/Reina, and no matter how old she acts these days it just doesn't come off as that believable. And now Kei and Kaori are going to be Risa's classmates? Hmm. Oh well, Kei still looks awesome.

Risa is completely old enough to be a teacher. I was a teacher at her age. It's just that she looks so young, which is why Reina and Sayu can easily get away with playing 17 year olds. And Rika's only a couple of years older than Risa, so they could totally be classmates. It's Kei and Kaori that are harder to buy, but I'm fine with just the nostalgia if having them in the show.

Oh I agree that she's old enough - it's just that the context of the show. If all three girls played teachers, that would be one thing. If all three girls played 17 year olds, that'd be one thing. It's the fact that they take 3 girls who are all practically the same age and try to pass off two as younger and one as older. It's a weird split. And yes - Rika I buy, Kei and Kaori...more of a stretch.
