Here's the rundown on Idoling:
Idoling!!! was formed by FujiTV as an "Idol nurturing show" where they formed an idol group of 10 idols (Out of the 50 who auditioned. :T BUT IT WAS ONLY OPEN TO GIRLS WHO WERE ALREADY IN AGENCIES IT'S NOT THAT BAD), and 8 more girls were added in March of 2008. They were given a daily weekday television show where they basically do the typical weird idol shit, but with the intensity meter on full blast, meaning these girls are fucking abused. Some of their punishments include: leafblowers to the face, getting pied thrice, getting weighed on the show, drinking nasty shit, eating nasty shit, and other stuff. It's pretty sadistic, but it's sadistic in a good way! I promise! It's funny! And one of the girls is going to be a Power Ranger. HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT?!
And let me say one thing before I go on to more stuff, if you dive into Idoling expecting to get great music out of it, you are in the wrong place. I'm going to be honest. I love Idoling, I love the members, I love the show, but most of their music is just not good. It seems to be on the upswing recently, but most of their stuff is not good. But really, if you're into idols for the great music, you're either retarded or a 9 year old girl.

As for the show itself, it's not on Youtube or anything, but Acchi Muite Pie has Mediafire downloads for them. My suggestions for recent episodes are #431 (Badminton with punishment games), #430 (Daisuki Idoling!!!, a segment where the girls talk about stuff they like, which is usually pretty lame, but it's pretty funny in this case.), #428 (They talk about laws within Idoling that cannot be violated. It's hilaaarious, but don't watch it if you can't understand Japanese to a good extent, as most of the hilarity comes from the talking.), #427 (They raid their purses/bags for their 2nd anniversary.) #423 (Iisou Shiritori with creepy motherfucker from Nankai Candies with his idol group)
