As far as I know, for the Ultra Slacker release we should expect a sort of indies band sound. I've heard previews on massa's youtube channel. Yeah, so Takui's working with Masahiro Takemoto.



It's like Chunky/Swanky all over again, but these aren't even mini albums! 9 tracks followed by 9(ish) more the next month is considered slacking? Ok, if you say so. Keep slacking.

The artists announced to be involved are Misono, May-J, and then some other people who I've never heard of before but youtube searches about them bring up brilliance. Words cannot express my joy.

Those are very interesting song titles. Moonlight Shining Love reminds me of Sailor Moon. Famous in China? Gina Collins wa Koukanryu Gakusei? Hittori Bocchi no Ai 2? (I don't remember a 1...? I'll have to check my cds when I get home.) WTF. What is a Guernica? Well... wiki says it is many things. Could this be what he's referencing(?) I am still confused yet intrigued.

D: I can't check it at work! Indie sound would be interesting and a contrast from his recent works. His minialbums tend to be awesome, can't complain. I checked out massa's blog and kicked myself for not studying Japanese more. Maybe Hiriko can teach me more. Or I can make her translate, haha. He seems to make laid back music (going only from what the bits of his discography tell me haha) so perhaps that is where we get the "Ultra Slacker" title from?

Recycled names aside, they say that this album will have a wide variety of sounds.

I hope the album version of Changes is significantly altered. They removed Aishiteru's echo opening from the last album and didn't distinguish it with a new title, so hopefully it won't be half assed "changes".

That's right. Oose Kaede/Kaepyon will be graduating from NICE GIRL Project at the concert on the 22nd of this month.

There are previews of both songs already. <3



Also, NGP enka singer Karen will be making her major label debut with the single Miren Zaka/Naku na Okamechan on September 23rd.
