Kirarin Revolution will be ending on March 27. The show has been on on air since April 2006 (Manga since March 2004) and it has finally come to an end. And Hello! Project has a Kirarin Revolution Final Event with SHIPS, MilkyWay, and of course Tsukishima Kirari in the works.

Hmm, I kinda figured this was what the best of album was implying and the announcement of the tour Final as a couple of added days after the tour Special.



The show has been on the air forever, it's kinda time it goes as there's no much else they could do in it.



Just wonder how Koharu's career will be after this, the anime tie in has been her major push.

What a shame. She's had some of the best music (musically) out of H!P in the last 4 or 5 years. Hopefully they can find some new way to have her continue a career with good music, but I won't count on it.

If she does something else I won't really care though. I really liked the Milky Way songs and Koharu's first two anime singles, but after that it was just grating song after grating song. I might have been able to appreciate them more musically if it weren't for her voice getting progressively more annoying with each song. I guess a good thing that could come out of this is Koharu shifting back to her more "grown up" voice, which was at least tolerable.

Thank GOD. I really hope this means Koharu IS in fact 'out of a career' - there is no hope for that girls voice. It is bloody awful. Much, much worse than Sayu's, who I can tolerate in small doses. The funny thing is, in some kind of sick ironic twist, when it was still just a manga my host mom gave me a kirarin revolution pencil case. I had no idea what it was at the time, especially the fact that my most hated member would become involved with it.



I haven't actually seen shugo chara, but it interests me more in general. One day I'll watch it.

I got nervous when I saw the header. For a second there, I was confusing Koharu with her character (an honest mistake, I'm sure) and thought she was being shoved out of MM. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... prised.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':omg:' />



Anyway, your quote says the show has been on the air since March 2004, which is contradicted by the Anime News Network, which says it premiered April 7, 2006, which sounds right to me because, as far as I can determine, Koharu's been doing the voice since Day One, which wouldn't have been possible at any time preceding her induction into MM in May 2005.

I can't say I'm too upset about this. I haven't enjoyed Koharu's solo career since Balalaika, Milky Way was worth watching but only to see Yuu do something active. I'll miss her. Maybe now that budget money that was going to the KR project can go somewhere more important and in need of it, like MM?

... Now related to the topic, as much as people seem to hate Koharu here I would not be surprised if she lands another seiyu role. She is incredibly good at her job, and it seems like I always laughed at Dub Musume on Haromoni@. Although I do kinda hope that she stops releasing solo singles, I'm actually somewhat hopeful that she continues being a VA.

This is definitely a tad depressing for me. Without her anime stuff, and with Elder Club all graduating, this will be the first time in history where Hellopro has ZERO solo artists of any form. Not that she's in the league of Nakazawa, Matsuura, Fujimoto, etc. In fact, she's one of the worst singers they've ever had in Hellopro. But Koharu was getting lots of the best-written and best-produced songs. That level of song composition, to me, is important enough that I won't complain if the vocalist sucks. Still better than the other way around: having their talented vocalists singing boring and poorly-composed songs. You know what I mean? I even loved the first two songs from Rainbow Pink, a duo composed of Hellopro's two worst singers. Not that I think all their stuff should be like that... GOD no. But it can't hurt, in the right doses.



Now all we have left in Hellopro, literally all, is just three groups.

That and... one shuffle group. I'm glad Buono is still around.

Has she released any singles on a major label yet? For all I know she might have, as I'm kinda out of the loop. But before I left, she was still just doing indies singles every now and again. Which is fine, plus I've always really liked her. But I wouldn't consider her an actual solo singer. We don't get to hear nearly enough from Mano, musically.

Not technically, but her major debut is lined up - the single comes out 3/18. They seem to be promoting this by releasing it in several different editions and by giving her a photobook and DVD. As much as I hate to see it happen, I wouldn't be surprised if the next MM graduation produces a new soloist. Koharu may not be dissapearing as a soloist though, as others have said it wouldn't be too surprising to see her get a new voice acting role. Though that doesn't necessarily mean a solo career, as Reina hasn't released anything for her My Melody role.
