H!P Website Gets Upgrade

As March 31st ends and April 1st begins, Hello! Project is starting fresh with the best April Fools joke of all!



The Official Website has been redesigned. Love it? Hate it? Want a floating H!P logo of your own? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whatthe:' />

It'd be great if the whole thing disappeared the next day, but I doubt it will.



I find the website a little harder to navigate then it was before. But I'm so happy ＳＩ☆ＮＡ is finally listed as a legit something, whatever it is they do. Maybe they'll release something this year? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> That would be nice, right? Yes it would!



Though they need to work with whoever the hell does the photography, some of the images are really low res.

Just goes to show these newspapers (if they could be called newspapers) don't do a good job of checking their sources. The fansite has the URL www.helloproject.tw, while the official one has a .com.tw. It's confusing, but seriously, this site has been running for years.

I like the new look of the website, and am curious what the other fanclub websites will look like when they are done updating.



All the elders are still included on the cell phone site and cell phone video site so they're not really going anywhere there.



I, and half of mixi, also fell for the Tsunku thing. Though by the time I saw it on mixi friends list the articles had been removed, must be oricon and yahoo realized their dumb mistake of not looking at the website a little closer.



Even Tsunku was surprised. On his blog he had a post about it, he first read it and was like "What, I am?! I hadn't planned to".

Such as? Even if some people have had hits, their style gets repetitive and boring pretty quickly, but no one has ever been as varied in style and consistent in quality for as long as Tsunku has. Any producer who produces close to 1000 songs in a 12 year period is bound to have some stinkers, and even with that many songs being made, his still have a really high ratio of quality to crap.

(since he gave birth to their careers, no epidural anesthesia or anything)

A different producer wouldn't necessarily see them all as precious snowflakes.

Well-said. This is part of the experience, for sure, but not entirely, because to me, the music they're singing still has to be good, regardless of how attached I am to the singers.
