What have you seen out there today?



I've been out all day, so I've only seen Google's CADIE AI, which powers Gmail Autopilot, and Google Brain Search. Elsewhere around Google: Google Code Search has lolcatspeak as samples and Google Gulp (beta) was released.



Also, YouTube has a new viewing experience.



What are some other good ones?

Well, this was more effective than funny, but there was a lot of talk about our public transit system going back on strike. Y'see, our bus system just recovered from a 7-week bus strike. It started just in time for the December exam period. Picketers delayed the shuttle busses set up by universities to get students to their exams on time. For many students, it was a nightmare. In the end, the Parliament declared public transit to be an essential service just to force the union to go back to work.



My brother totally fell for the spoof announcements. Like a town crier, he ran around spreading the word to anyone who would listen. :-)
