Idoling! 3rd gen arrives

Post by Kurious »

Acchi Muite Pie!!! has posted details on the new generation of Idoling!!!. The three new members will be part of Idoling!!!'s 7th single "Baby Blue"; to be released April 29. I wasted no time and already ordered the Limited Edition of Baby Blue. ^.^

I just watched one of the episodes with 3rd gen the other day, but I can't really remember much about them. Not a big impression yet, but the episode up at Acchi Muite Pie where it first lists 3rd gen is the one where AKB comes to play as well. It doesn't seem like the first introduction episode. I'm hoping that goes up soon.

I still really miss the graduated girls. What are the odds that they'd graduate all of my top 3..? Rumi, then Sayanee and Mira.

Recently I've been watching moer episodes and some of the other girls are growing on me, but not to the same extent that I loved Mira and Rumi. Tonooka stands out to me. I really like her singing voice and how she's down to earth. I also really like Asahi Nao from what I've seen so far. Still no definite favorite though..

Who did you like again, Kurious?

Here is a photo for no real reason:

I change favorites (of all kinds) so often that I think I should probably just stop having favorites at all. Still... I think I like Endo Mai as my favorite voice. And I have to say that Rumi definitely has great talent as a singer. And Tonooka also sings very good. Which reminds me-- now that Sayaka's graduated, is Tonooka the leader? Of Mira, I totally like how spirited she is. I wish they all came back! Oh, and Sayaka's very cute. And now, waiting for Baby Blue. Let's see how the 3rd gen goes!

I think Mai would be the leader. It usually goes to the oldest, and i think Maipuru is currently the oldest. I was hoping with 3rd gen that they'd toss in someone older to make up for the loss of both Rumi and Sayanee, but we got 2 lolis instead. There's a video up now on Acchi Muite Pie with introductions from the new girls so I'll download that later.

I wish a leak of Baby Blue would surface already, the release date is almost 2 weeks from now and there hasn't been much of anything. I wonder if a second album is in the works, too?

It's sad that Idoling isn't more accessible to foreign fans the way that MM and AKB48 are. Idoling's shows require a good understanding of Japanese to understand and follow, since most of them are pretty wordy and the talk segments are incredibly long and involved. But you find out way more about the girls than from any other idol group. Like how Ami is the creepiest Idoling wota, Sakai's family are a bunch of crazy country ass bumpkins, and Mira sneaks into Suzuka's room to fuck up all her stuff, use her laptop, eat her food and then leave.

Ah, so there's an intro video already? (Not the teaser, right?) I haven't checked AMP for a while, will do so later. As for Mai, I hope that they don't graduate her anytime soon because, again, she's my favorite now!!!

I don't usually watch TV. Still, I watched a few episodes of their show since I like Idoling so much. It's alright. If I only knew more Japanese though, I'd probably like it more. I recently passed the thousand word mark in my studies, including correct kanji (woohoo ); but that's still just too low when compared to daily use of the language. If only I were much more fluent, I'd be happy to do a few translations of lyrics and episodes. Alas, that will have to wait.

It would be nice if there existed an "Idoling Picboard", tracking both current and former members. What are each of the graduates doing now???
