After School - Diva

Post by mikittythebunny »

The korean pop group described as the Korean Pussycat Dolls, After School, released their second (digital) single, "Diva" - as well as added a new member, Kim Yoo Jin - on April 9th. This song is just another recent production by Brave Brothers.

Tracklist:

1. Diva

2. Diva (Instrumental)

Single Cover:

The MV hasn't been released yet, but they have released a teaser.

You can see it here:

Well....after listening to the whole song this is the only thing that appears in my mind.

(Additional Sounds If Necessary)

Seriously, this song is rocking. Love the opening, love the beat, love love love the chorus.

I've actually listened to this about 12 times today.

This is currently my favorite Korean girl band. I think this single is even catchier than their first one.

And I like how AS is becoming a somewhat MM group. I hope they keep adding and removing members.

I'm just waiting for their comeback performance and MV to see what the new member sings so I can make an assessment of her.

So, what do y'all think of the new single and AS in general?

Rocking, right? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

In looking for the full audio, I found the M/PV!

I don't instantly like it more than Ah, but it's pretty catchy, and the video's pretty fun. It'll probably grow on me. How popular are they in Korea in just these past few months?

I liked Ah when that came out. I was trying to remember what that music video was like and couldn't find it on my computer, so I looked it up and realized I had never seen it.

And heh, I thought Son Dam Bi was in the group since they performed with her in January.

Who are they, and what else have they done?

The overall sound is somewhat ok, could be nice asian elektro-pop if you're drunk, but the "diva ! diva ! diva !" sounds really irritating.

Well...Brave Brothers (Kang Dong Chul and Kang Hyuk Chul) are super popular Korean Producers right now....

They seem to be producing every hot Korean song out lately

Their recent trademark is that "Made in Sound" (or w/e it says) intro at the beginning of any song they produce.

They have a lot of hit songs out right now and in the past.

Some notable ones are:

Big Bang - Last Farewell

Brown Eyed Girls - How (Come)

Minwoo - Don't Trust Men

U-Kiss - Talk to Me

Bae Seul Gi - Tiresome

Son Dam Bi - Saturday Night

After School - Ah

Battle - Step By Step

BTW here's their M! Countdown comeback performance:

[Edit]

OH HO HO

The mystery has been solved.

The intro at the beginning of all the songs says

"Brave Sound"

It is produced like it said in Hangeul, which is "Beu-ray-ee-beu Sa-oon-deu"

The begining is a little dull but when the rapping comes on it gets better.
