megamoni! My personal favorite for a sidegroup revival would be Tanpopo with Yurina,Maimi,Chinami, and Erika. I loved their cover of "Oujisama to Yuki no Yoru" last year. They fit the original image and sound of the group. BTW, if there is a new minimoni, I'm sure it would have some HPE in it.

They could keep it at the original size of 3, it's less expected.

I would love for Yaguchi to be in it, but I don't think they could/would do that since she's out of H!P now. If they can break all rules, I say: Yaguchi, Tokito Ami & Jun Jun.

I'd love to see some more of Aika, but I think she still has to develop her singing more. I don't really know the HPK or HKE enough to want any of them specifically.

I guess my dream team would be: Yaguchi (I mean, Tsunku did contact her), a well-recorded and trained Mitsui, and probably JunLin for the KagoTsuji type thing (though I guess height is an issue <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hahaha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':hahaha:' /> )

Linlin has to be in this unit for the different ethnic member of the group. But she's taller than 150cm! One reason the group died was because Mika left, right? I mean, the group wasn't great without Yaguchi, but still...

Do you think Takahashi will be in this group still? Or will they put Reina in as the leader instead? She's closer to 150 than Takahashi is/was. The only HPK who was 150 or shorter are Chisato, Captain, and Momoko. And I don't think they'll put Momoko in yet another group. She already seems busy enough! There's quick a few HPE that are tiny, though. The baby ones...

Though a new minimoni would just be wrong. This sounds great to me. And I really can't see Yaguchi in it, she's almost 27. It barely fit her image before, which I think was one of the reasons she graduated from it. I don't think the original idea that she and the others had was for a kids group, just a group emphasizing their shortness.

So far Tsunku has said he is considering Fukuda Kanon on his blog today. Yes she's already going to be in S/mileage, but seeing as the members of Minimoni were from different groups it might work out great. It really seems like he is trying to revive the old Hello Project before it got too huge and full of mostly too old to really push as cute young idol members.

I'm looking forward to whatever comes of this.

I am indifferent about this issue. I love Minimoni and was the group that got me into H!P, I don't think it could be as great as the first time around, especially with the personality.

If they do put HPE in this group, I think it will have Okai Asuna and Maeda Irori in it. They are some of the more popular girls in the younger HPE ranks.

I'm having a hard time seeing Tsunku/UFA creating any sort of unit that has only one of the pandas. So far they've been stuck together more than Tsuji/Kago ever were. As for this unit in general, I don't really have any particular hopes. Minimoni was Minimoni, and even if they make a new group with the same name it'll still feel like a completely new group to me. Even if I end up hating it, it'll be hard for me to feel like they trash the Minimoni name since it will be such a different entity.

Hmm apparently Japanese fans are fond of the idea of a Dekamoni too.

My friend posted about the revival of Minimoni on her mixi and several of the comments included a desire for a Dekamoni with Junjun, Maimi, Yurina etc.

I think Tsunku should create both. Then they could separate the pandas for once and yet since they'd still be in contrasting groups with the same aim overall, in many ways it'd be the same as them being together. Well I mean if they did Mini vs Deka battles or something strange like that.

I wasn't a big Chisato fan until the C-ute concert a couple weeks ago, but I have to admit she pulled me in. So I'm all for throwing her in there too.

Maybe this group will be along the lines of Mini Moni., but not the EXACT same... Like, kid's songs, but no height requirements.

But... will it be H!P?? Isn't Mari part of M-Line?

I would take a listen, especially if Kanon and Mari are in it. Though that might be odd because Kanon looks and sounds a lot like Kago did. Irori gets my vote if they are pulling from Eggs though because she hasn't gotten into anything yet, while Kanon is in Shugo Chara Egg and s/mileage. I wouldn't complain if she were though because she has such a nice voice and she's adorable, but I'd like to see Irori hatch already...

If Koharu is in this all bets are off. Her voice makes me want to vomit.

If Mari is a definite, I would add Irori, Kikkawa Yuu, and Hagiwara Mai to round out the group. <3

Who knows if Tsunku will follow through though... You never know.

Tsunku probably only ask Mari if it was okay because she was the one who came up with the idea of the group in the first place... Plus, she graduated once from the group. It'd be kind of silly to have her be back in the group.
