Why is there Playboy part 2 when part 1 was a myspace only song?

Shoujo M...what does it mean? Shoujo S was Girl-S, Girl-M? Like sizes? S&M? Girls turning into boys? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE M! And it is followed by Girlism, is it going to be a continuation? Are Shoujo M and Girlism going to be like Maboroshi Night and RING RING RING were on the last album? Perhaps Hello! Hello! and Hi-Hi-Hi? Aitai better be a sweet love song. Sayonara my friend sounds like a ballad too, which saddens me because Namida no Regret is a ballad. I want only 1 slow song per album for rocking girls. *pout*

Well, I assume "Shoujo S" was named for the line "Shoujo Escape". Maybe the line will be Shoujo Em... uh "Shoujo Em-El"?

Anyway, I already pre-ordered this before the tracklist. I hope Amazon.jp is good at allocating preorders because I want my photobook.

In an interview I remember seeing a while back, they said it was supposed to be Girls. They also joked that there's multiple Shoujo A (Akina Nakamori's is ze bestest) songs, and I think they said B and C too, but I can't find any songs called Shoujo B or C. I tried to find the interview, but it's buried somewhere in SH and that forum is a pain in the ass to navigate.

Which makes this more confusing. Who knows, who knows. I just want to hear it! Watch it be something stupid or not have any meaning.

Here's cover of Namida no Regret. They got that movie poster blue/orange thing going on. (Am I the only one that noticed that? It bugs me!) Therefore, it makes me think of Prince of Persia.

AAaNNND I forgot to mention this earlier, but they are performing as themselves in the anime Loups=Garous. The only real info I found on that weird sounding show is at ANN. Since I did this last time, I'm here to continue the tradition of terribly taken pictures of the SCANDAL album photobook.

We can see from the cover that it is already far more colorful than the last one. The theme is sort of the same, except instead of outside a gig at night, they are outside (and inside) a bus playing a gig and fooling around.

I hope the Love Keys can save them!

This time there are credits for the photographer and art designer and such beyond "By SCANDAL" that the last one had. It's clearly more professionally done, but you can see that they tried to give it the same feel as the last one. It's less than half the size of the last one (but still over 100 pages), but the last one had a lot of empty space (which was also cool because it gave it the feeling of the girls just wasting their disposable cameras on silly shots).

Oh yeah, a CD came with it as well. It's no BEST SCANDAL, but I really wasn't expecting it to live up that without things like "Shojo S" and "Space Ranger". I enjoyed my listen through it, but I don't think I'll get addicted to it like I did their debut album. (EDIT: This is already false as I near the end of my second listen, I feel the urge to listen MORE MORE MORE. What the heck is it with them that makes me want to listen to them over and over? I still don't really care for "Namida no Regret" though.) The album tracks are mostly exciting though. "GIRLism" is probably my favorite on first listen. But just like their first album really allowed me to appreciate their singles better, I've already found myself liking "~~~~STORY" better now.

Also, about "Shojo M", MAMI is given lyric credits, so I'm thinking perhaps it means her name.

Unfortunately, this time the CD got it's own huge case, and it wasn't an inset jewel case like last time. This means I'm missing out on the cool booklet from the other editions that I've seen.

I look forward to their albums moreso than singles now because the album tracks are better than singles this time around. Yeah, but you also said that the photobook was 160 pages, when it's 116. So I can't keep up with which statements in your posts are lies!

I've only recently discovered Scandal and am really liking them, I've just bought Best Scandal and Temptation Box from iTunes and I'm just hoping my interest doesn't put the kiss of death on them (as it did with MKB and Viyuden and be careful Buono!).

I love their slow transition from seifuku to skirts/blazers with a punk flair. Kudos stylists, it has worked well. Tomo got a new bass too?! Or maybe I haven't noticed it in their past PVs. Pride is good, but weak compared to their other singles. I'm not liking it as much on first listen as Nanka Buttobase.

And speaking of animu, they performed at that anime concert again.

Don't Say Lazy with Shoko-tan rocked so much harder than the first time they covered it <33

Shunkan Sentimental (Mami has improved her guitar work on this song hahaha) and KOSHI-TANTAN

Anime tie in single with this song means they'll probably return this year too :)

The singles are Haruna-heavy anyway, so there shouldn't be complaining there. The album tracks/b-sides are more evenly spread between Haruna/Tomo or Haruna/Tomo/Mami. Certain songs wouldn't be as good without Tomomi solos. Personally I like the switch from the different vocal styles and the times when they all sing in unison like a pop group.

Figures petit says what I was gonna say. I mean, I'm not the diehard Tomomi fan that petit is, but I wouldn't want her to stop singing. Although I don't particularly love hearing her the whole time in "Houkago 1H" (would maybe my least favroite Scandal song if not for the boring rock ballad of "Namida no Regret"), when she acts in combination with the other vocals (particularly the Haruna+Tomomi combo) such as her part in "Shunkan Sentimental" that really gives the song something extra and her vocals in "Hi-Hi-Hi".

Technically, MKB didn't end that quickly, it's just that they didn't get many songs.

About 3 albums in 10 years is kind of sad.

This time Haruna & Tomomi split the lines 50/50. Tomomi might be my new favorite. I tend to like the girls I think are the cutest best.

I knew when it was called "magazine" that the photobook version would be lackluster this time. I guess they wanted to save costs, yet continue their tradition? Well, I got the photbook version since it's what I got for the other ones. But, man, it's even more disappointing than I assumed. The other versions separated the book and gave you a regular jewel case for the CD. This time the CD is set inside the book making the "magazine" the liner notes. On one hand, it's nice to have extra-large versions of the lyrics, but I still would have liked having it as a jewel case with my other CDs if I wanted. Furthermore the majority of the pictures are simply from the same photoshoot as the other album versions. (I haven't seen the liner notes for the other albums, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were straight-up the same pictures.) The previous two books were completely separate in tone and photoshoot from the album. Hell, the cover of this version is the same as the cover for the album's score book. Ridiculous.

With their lack of effort, I'm gonna provide even less effort than I previously did in my traditional blurry shots of the photobooks (also even stupider this time since I'm so late, people have probably already seen their own).

There's more, but they didn't care, so I didn't.

Oh, yeah, there's also a CD that came with it. I haven't listened to it yet.
