Nanchatte Renai [Preview]

Post by Pucchi-Mo »

Full radio preview on Youtube

Yeah, so as you can hear, they have the same basic elements.

It's like they took Shouganai Yume Oibito and threw in Maki's Daite Yo! Please Go On rap at random moments. . .or SEXY 8?

This would have been less suspicious if you just gave this song to C-ute, it sort of sounds like something they would have. Especially the "Ah nande nandarou watashi" part.

My goodness Koharu is sounding more and more like Rika. There's your first hint of who will be in Viyuden.

Love it, even more than Shouganai. I expected the 40th single to be louder and crazier. Maybe the B side will be.

It's got violins and rap. I don't stand a chance, I am horribly in love with this. I'm not going to bullshit any musical terms as to WHY because VIOLINS and RAP people.

I went from ignoring H!P to putting every other release on my MP3 player, damn man! I love you, new H!P!

I was going to post something about the preview earlier today, but the internet went out for a while for some reason. Anyways, I like this better than Shouganai Yume Oibito. I like the part between the verse and rap, but I especially love the chorus. The rap definitely suprised me, but it seems a bit out of place, but I like it enough. Overall, I'm liking this enough to buy it.

I think this is a good direction for MM to go, having beaten the "Sorta-Hi-NRG-To-Try-To-Make-A-Bigger-Impression-Than-The-Song-Deserves" horse with the fugly stick for the past couple years. I like the lighter, pure pop vibe this has. It lets the song and the singers shine through more instead of trying to overwhelm with heavy beats & synths. I do like that sound as well, just it's become overused with them & it's cool to hear reminders of other sounds they used to be known for.

When was Rika annexed back into Morning?! Also, I really like the arrangement. Oh god that chorus! That rap/bridge is really fun too! YOU KNOW? Hearing those first three piano notes reminds me of...that...classical piano piece... I don't remember the title!

From a YouTube comment:
*hint* hint* Soo much Ai chan!!! The fall concert is coming up and since there is more of her than usual this may be her last single!!!

[upd] 'kipedia said that there are two versions of the single that will have two different B-sides! What is this, Morning Ayumusume?

For the record, it's:

A version: CD+DVD (DVD with "clips" on it)

B version: CD+DVD (DVD with different "clips" than the "A" version)

Regular version (jack shit)

40th single commemorative version (a different b-side)

All of these come with an event serial number card that's of no use to the majority of you reading this.

More like Johnny Musume. The b-side title (name escapes me but equals to something like "All About the Strength of Love") will be a ballad. Yay. I just hope that ONE of the b-sides is a fun one.

I was wondering what that other version was on CDJapan. Smart marketing move, plus it's always good to have more new songs to listen to. Well, depending on the quality of the songs.

I don't like this as much as Shouganai but I agree with what Geof said about the style and the direction it takes them in. The RikaKoharu and Sayumi solos are a little too long for me, they border on really irritating. Otherwise it's a pretty good song.

There's a lot of stuff going on here, but most of it is good. I'm kind of indifferent to the rap part, although it has shades of "Do It Now," which I love. The chorus is the true strength of the song. I hope the dance and PV are good.

People I know keep saying Koha sounds good in this! XD Only good compared to her usual. Not feeling her lines, but overall, I have the same amount of feeling for this as I did for Shouganai... which is a good sign, because I ADORED Shouganai after hearing the real thing, rather than the preview.

This song is...confusing. It sounds like too many different types of songs mashed together. Well, I really liked Shoganai but this is growing on me...I am usually swayed by the PV so I'll wait till then.

I like the light piano but I wish they'd get rid of those awful generic sounding beats and synth. They make this sound like so many other generic Jpop songs all from the mid90s. It reminds me of SPEED's "My Graduation" for some reason:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYN5DPZt6NE

Edit: Wait, no, not that song. I can't remember what song I'm thinking of arg.

I've been noticing this with a lot of Momusu songs since Platinum 9 - they're just a little too busy for my tastes. I like the songs but they often have a lot more going on than I'd like, it's like Tsunku can't decide on whether or make a ballad, synthy dance song, or some sort of rnb thing.

I can't comment on this song conclusively. I listened to the rip four times straight, and I still can't make up my mind. The train of thought goes like so: I like it, I really like this part, ugh wtf is this crap?, ew this sucks, this is alright, cool beans, I think I like this song oh wait wtf is that, argh, I like it. :|

I am totally in love with this.

I adore the instrumentation. I completely agree with Liana here - violins + rap = awesome.

Koharu does sound rather Rika-like... Whether that's good or bad, i don't know, haha. It's better than her Kirarin voice though.

I like how the girls all sound singing the unison lines in this one too - It really feels like a group song, instead of a 3-member group with bg singers.

I can't wait to see if they do something great for the video for this. It's such a cool song, I would like to see it get a creative video.

Ayu's single comes out the same day, but quite honestly, this blows it out of the water.

Listening now and I really like it already. Of course the wota in me does like almost anything they put out. But in general I like the feel, even if it is another breakup type song.

The rap part reminds me more of Do it Now than any of Gomaki's stuff, although in this song it is spread out into parts instead of the one long rap from Do It Now.

As the song is finishing I do agree that it sounds too busy. Hopefully all the transitions pull together well for the dance and PV.

And please UFA, do something with the PV. I mean you have the perfect song to pull a Do it Now styled PV with, and after Shouganai's step up I hope that the directors keep it up.

I'm sad, I can't go to the release event for this (atleast if it's on the dates Neowing has listed, official site doesn't have dates yet) because as usual the one in Tokyo is on a Saturday and I now work Saturdays although I now live in Tokyo. And though I'd scrape up the money to go to Osaka if I could for the one on a Sunday, that Sunday I have another stupid training course my work wants to go to. Ah well, atleast it means I don't need to buy 10 copies and have them sitting around. (I still have copies of Naichau and Shouganai if anyone is interested...) Just want the original and 40th anniversary. Since it's coming out the same day as an Ayu single no way it'll hit number one but hopefully it still stays up there enough to get them more noticed in the Japanese media.

Eh, this is pretty generic to me. "Shouganai Yume Oibito" at least has a memorable chorus and a cohesive arrangement.

I freakin' love this song. It's amazing. As soon as the violins kicked in I was sold. Then they started to rap. There was only one way for this single to get better... then it will happen. It's coming out on my Birthday! Just wish my Jun Jun would get more solo lines >.>

I'm really not a big fan of rap in the middle of a song but it doesn't feel too out of place. And it seems like Aika is good at it. If it gets her more of a spotlight then I'm all for it! Here's to hoping that she gets plenty of PV face time.

Just to throw this in but...

I only listened to this song a few days ago when hearing the preview here. I assumed the song was forgotten until this morning, when I woke up with the chorus stuck in my head. That might be a good thing, but I also had a nightmare last night so...what does THAT mean?

I'm not really feeling it, unfortunately. The rap break is cute, and I think it'll sound better with better quality, as right now it's hitting me as being too... ... generic.

There are certain parts of the weird synth instrumentals that could have been removed (for example, the whooooop at 0:30) and various other little tweaks that could have been made it sound less generic-90s and more epic. I've always been noticing these little things in MM songs as of late... The basic song is good, I just end up disagreeing with some of the layers of other crap they put on it.

For some reason, it's striking me as kind of... Arashi-ish? Just try imagining their voices instead, it works strangely well. Like an Arashi album song, though, because... well, Arashi tends to get better material than this for their singles.

Man, I'm feeling MM's singles as of late. This song is no exception, I'm listening to this for the second time in a row and I think this'll be on repeat once I get it . Great vocals actually, Koharu sounds better here than she has in a while.

Wow, I love this song a lot! It didn't get stuck in my head first time, but I feel I could listen to a billion times more on repeat. I really like the direction MM is going to now; the only thing that could make it better if they started getting more emo. Like this AKB48 song. 15s PV preview from Kizuna Shokudou SP

Holy shit, this is the best looking Morning Musume PV since Roman -My Dear Boy-. Seriously, with this, Shouganai, and Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu, it's like UFA has suddenly remembered How to Use BUDGET.

EMO-MUSUME strikes again!

You know UFA, the only reason your happy Mikan song failed was because you didn't add in the handshake event, if you did you'd notice it isn't the emoness that's selling your singles it's your god damn handshake events. I WANT A HAPPY SONG DAMNIT! One that doesn't involve a PV filled with blackness and angst! Why are all the happy songs shoved into the c/w! I get that the girls can act all angsty but I want something to bring a smile to myself in these dark and depressing times, NOT MORE DARK AND DEPRESSING! GYAH!

Oh and I don't see a budget, I see them wearing their cover outfits in a dance shot laced together with a close up and some MORE angst shots. Unless of course they go and do something freakin' spectacular with the added rap parts.

Okay I'm done ranting, my computer is slow as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

Pretty much this. The dance shot locale is nice and Takahashi's solo cut looked really interesting, but please don't be 4 minutes of DARK FACTORY MUSUMEH. It's nice to see more than one take of the dance shot and the girls look really nice.

It was more the fact that they were using camera effects to make it look like a movie :<

Also I think there are gonna be other scenes. That's just a 15 second preview, so I'm hoping it's not four minutes of DARKNESS MUSUME
