Eri's my favorite. I remember a time when she was an underdog and no one cared about her and that's why I liked her. And she has this sweet, carefree attitude about her.

I love Eri best too. She's really changed over the course of her H!P career.



Let me attempt to interpret - she was a lil' scared thing, then she blossomed into Weird Eri, then there was some cuting-up with better hair (?), then some other emoticons. Chalk up a fail to me. I'd do emoticons myself, but they would pale in comparison.

I suppose I'll choose Ai for this, since I told her to her face that she was my favorite, and we can't go around telling lies to idols, can we?



I may not have been a fan for long enough to have seen when she joined the group; but, through the magic of the internet, I have been able to watch her grow from a cute girl to a beautiful, talented woman. I really like that she loves acting and the stage. Sure, you can view her quest to lose her accent as a metaphor for her lost personality, but there's some serious talent in her, and I tend to view that whole thing as her growing process.



Oh and she's pretty.

I really know nothing about Eri's personality as of late, because in what little TV exposure they get these days I haven't paid as much attention to her. For me, she's tied with Risa as my second favorite member solely based on her voice. I love that she's one of the few members that really knows how to alter her singing style based on the type of song (soft voice for ballads vs sexy voice for R&B vs cutesy voice for ...cutesy songs), and you can really hear a huge improvement in her voice over time. Not that she was ever a terrible singer to begin with, it's more of a style thing for me. She went from being essentially a Kago clone to having her own distinct style, which is something very few members have made a significant change in over time. For me, she's sort of the real success story Tsunku wanted Konno to be - kind of dull and just-another-cutesy-voice in the beginning, but worked really hard to come into her own and earn a spot as one of the more prominantly featured (in songs) members.



BUT I voted for JunJun. Risa and Eri are basically tied as my second favorites, but JunJun has personality AND looks AND a decent voice.

If I had to pick a current member it'd be Eri or Niigaki, but that's going by like two years ago or something since that's probably the last time I've seen them on tv a lot.

I chose Aika for the following reasons:

Eri is a close second, followed by JunJun, Sayumi and Ai.

Lin Lin and Reina are middle ground.

Koharu and Risa fight it out for the bottom spot on my list, switching spots every couple of days.

I chose Reina. She used to be my least favourite member (although I did like her a lot when she was in Aa!), but I've been warming up to her since she was in High-King.

I've never been into idols, so I'm too heavily an elitist to base my favorites on personality rather than voice XD But! Personality wise I guess I'd say Sayu. She has a really unexpected kind of dorky personality that you don't expect from a girl that looks like her. Vocally, and as far as who I like to see on stage, I'd have to say Eri. I think she actually sang more consistantly than Ai in the Platinum 9 concert.

My favorites have been kinda changing, but for a while now, I would say Linlin. When I first heard that she was joining MM and that she was going to be called Linlin. I couldn't help but laugh because Linlin sounds like a very stereotypical chinese name. That, and there was a japanese (chinese?) little pikachu thing on a comedy central show called Drawn Together (I think?) named Ling Ling. Around the time MM released COVER YOU and Platinum 9 DISC, I could really tell that Linlin has a really nice voice. Not perfect, but I can see her improving in the future. Linlin can be funny too, but not as funny as Junjun (2nd favorite!).

My favorite right now is Ai. I don't know how this happened because I hated her years ago, but in this current lineup she is the most interesting/least annoying. Very odd sense of humor, that girl has.



Second favorite would be Eri followed by LinLin and JunJun. Eri has always been one of my liked members, but now that the more interesting people are out since the last time *coughyossimikinonoyagufuckingchikaoririkacough* she's bumped up the ranks. I think the only member I went from being a huge fan to nonfan is Reina. Very interesting when she debuted and she slowly fell into some weird winkingcutesy monster. Eri, ever since Mako graduated. I loooove her voice and she's incredibly beautiful. Should be reason enough, I guess. Pandas are alright. Aika's voice is terrible but she seems like a nice gal, and what I feel about Reina is enoughwiththefreakingwinking. Ai is OK. My favorite fluctuates often. Reina's probably held onto the number 1 spot the longest, Eri is probably most consistently in my top 3, Junjun and Linlin have seen time at the top, and at points Ai and Risa have been leagues above everybody else, but right now... I'd have to say Aika is my favorite, due to major overall adorableness.

Reina is still my favorite I guess, although as many of you, it's been AGES since I've seen this girls interact or say anything in TV.

Junjun would be a *close* second, Ai third, and Koharu in the far bottom. I think she's cute and spazzy and funny, but I can't stand an idol with THAT voice.

I don't really pay attention to the group anymore outside of listening to their stuff as they release it, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'd say Risa because she's the most bangable to me.

My fave is still Reina, although I prefer her when she isn't hamming it up for the camera so much. Which has been less and less lately... But she still has my favorite voice out of all of them!



Second favorite would be Ai, I know she can be a bit on the plain side sometimes but she's very amusing in a more subtle way. She is also model-gorgeous and has one hell of a voice! I still love going back and watching Love Audition 21 and watching little Ai working so hard to get into MM but being unable to remember her lyrics. Ahh, we need another audition with more members so that maybe I'll really like one and be able to watch her grow up like I've been able to with Ai.



Risa is a respectable 3rd, still a fan of her, have been since she joined even though she was not popular with the fan base for several years.



Eri, Jun Jun, Aika, I like them sometimes.



Lin Lin and Sayumi I don't hate (which is a long way from a few years ago when I would have preferred for sayu to drop off the face of the earth), but I'm not too big on them.



Koharu, I can't stand. Hate her voice and she always comes off as fake for me.

I honestly can't say anymore. I don't really HAVE a favorite member, to be quite honest. I guess Aika? I've only seen a few clips from her in the beginning, but one of my favorites is when her and Koharu got served something like frog legs. They begin eating it, someone tells them that they're eating frog legs, and Koharu flips a shit, while Aika just looks a little surprised and just keeps on eating it. I'm like "man, what a cool girl!" Also Junjun, because I think she's gorgeous and underrated and hilarious.



But really, I've been so out of MM this past year or so that I can't pinpoint a favorite. Is there anything recent they've done that at least shows their personalities a LITTLE? Little amazing clips of Haromoni or something?

I'm sure I didn't make this clear enough at L.A or Anywhere else for that matter, It's all about Junjun! She melts me into an ocean of Panda Love. If, I hate to even think of this, Junjun wasn't in MM then Eri and Ai would be some candidates.

It flips around Sayu, Junjun, and Linlin for me with a side of Koharu recently but I always end up settling on Linlin. Sayumi is just an adorable, evil little piece of shit and I love her for it while Junjun never fails to make me laugh and Koharu's so honestly actually THAT STUPID that I want to take her home- I wish she had more of a chance to show off her personality, she'd be such a great "idiot" character if she, like, honed her stupidity. But Linlin I connected to the second I saw her and she's sooo talented. I'm not into MM for the talent, but she's SUCH a great vocalist, the best MM has gotten in years. I've never liked her more than her voice and for being a square headed adorable freak with a cute smile, but lately I've been finding clips of her being really cute and silly in a natural way AND the girl just rocked her English at AX without a care. Exciting! Spreading ass! You have to respect that man.

Aika, ever since she joined. She's cute and reminds me of someone I knew and liked in looks, personality, and mannerisms. As I said when she first joined, "part of the reason she's cute is because she smiles a lot. I like people who smile and seem genuine about it. It's infectuous and makes me happy as well." This has held true for the past 2.5+ years.

Her voice isn't the greatest, but it's getting better, and she doesn't sing very often.
