Erina has released her third major single.
1. Sekai wa Summer Party
2. Jasmine Tea
Many people have already heard the a-side. The b-side is a pleasant song with the return of the soothing Mano. As Reina says about actual jasmine tea, it's refreshing and resets the mood.
I have no clue if this single will attract more listeners to her, and I doubt it will convert those odd people who actively waste energy to hate her, but for me it means now there are 9 songs from her to listen to.
My only complaint is the covers.
Seriously, as much as I like Erina's face, didn't we just do the close-up thing for the last single? At least the first single was slightly zoomed out so you could see what she was wearing. I guess they just really want us to buy the CD to see the insert art for better photographs. You'd think with four damned versions, at least one would be well-done, but that would require imagination I guess.
Have her pose by a tree or something! Rest her arm on a balcony! Look upwards!
I also know it's impossible with current technology to put more than 12 minutes of audio on a CD, so I won't bother complaining that they never put the instrumentals to b-sides.

What's the first thing you do when you return home after a concert?

Re: Mano Erina - Sekai wa Summer Party
If they put instrumentals to b-sides, then the single would become a double-A side instead <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':eekrun:' /> Anyway, the concept of the single is quite silly in this age, since they've been using these 12cm CDs. I wish they'd go back to the tiny 8cm discs for singles - the designs were so much more interesting.
I don't follow Mano (and should I do so, I wouldn't be able to follow her religiously, because my hard drive would blow up at that point), but I really liked this single. The arrangement sounds so 80s, but it's actually very refreshing and sugary and cute. It's a great contrast to Mature and Emo Musume.
