Koda Kumi's got a new single coming out on the 16th. Alive is a classical ballad. Physical Thing is a cover of English singer NOSHEEN's song of the same title. Alive is a slow, slow, HORRENDOUSLY SLOW ballad, but the PV is beautiful and the song is pretty listing if you get to the chorus. THe PV is really pretty, if not a little over done. Physical Thing is a really fun dance track, but it's not even three minutes long. It was also a little disheartening to find it's a cover. The PV is a little more shallow than Alive, but there's a definite edge to it. (I think Kumi looks a little like Miki during some of the fedora scenes, no?)
The single includes the title tracks, an instrumental for each, and first press versions come with 1) a live video (or audio for Jacket <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sideways:' /> from her recent TRICK tour and 2) access to a special website on October 3 and 4 where her TRICK tour performance will be streamed live.
If you're keeping count, this is her second single in a row where she's poured some sort of liquid on herself in a PV (see: my avatar)
