[TNX] S/mileage 3rd Indie Single "Suki Chan"

I was surfing youtube when I ran into this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hmp2KLcpmI...ature=subtivity it was written third so I got into it, I heard and it's a new song, so I guess it's the third single.



The video feature a recording video, Kanon sound amazing, and yuuka last line is amazinglly cute, this song sound so far better then ama no jaku...



BTW I can't seem to find the name of the song, as I can't read japanese, but the title of the video say "s/mileage indies third single recording" if someone can figure the name of the song, he is more then welcome.

Nice find. It's not yet named (at least I didn't see one on that link). s/milage has some pretty good indies singles. I hope they have a big major debut next year.

This already sounds like an amazingly worthy successor to 2nd Single Long Title. It's certainly more along the lines of "Asu wa" than "Ama no Jaku". If s/mileage continues on this course, they will quickly become a favorite for me.

I don't like this song from the preview, though I really haven't liked any of S/mileage's songs, but does anyone else get the feeling that Tsunku seems to be putting all of his marbles into S/mileage? They're teetering on the line between H!P and NGP, have really nice, well-budgeted PVs for INDIE SINGLES, are arguably the most popular H!P eggs, have the Mano Erina tie-in, and are just all-around getting massive pimpage. I'm interested in seeing what he does with them once they lose their training wheels.

Tsunku is really having fun putting names in S/mileage song... He took months to reveal who Saitou-senpai was and now "Suki chan". I wonder how the full version of the song will be. And yes, I also didn't expect it to be released that soon.



As for the song itself, I like it! It seems really generic; however the group's sound gradually becomes more and more like that of a normal release from H!P. I hope it means they will go major at last - mainly after their tour along with ManoEri announcement. Go, Kanon (and the others)! (Sorry, I'm biased. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... stling.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> ) I mean, °C-ute had 4 indies, Mano had 3... I think I'm really gonna like this song! Watching the videos, though, did anyone get the impression that Yuuka doesn't try as hard as the other three? I don't know if it was the day or what, but for whatever reason, she stuck out to me like a sore thumb during the dance practice. I guess she could just be a slower learner for dances and such as the others, but even when she was doing them, it didn't seem quite as full of energy as the other three. Dawa looked like she tries the hardest and enjoys it the most, though. Yuuka always looks like that to me. I'm not sure she's bored, but I think that's just her natural demeanor.



Or her leading role in the Shugo Chara musical has gone to her head.

This sounds fantastic, I love what he's done with them so far. Both of their singles have been great, they all sound really good, the PVs are great, and I can't wait for this new one. And yes, Yuuka pretty much always does seem like she's bored. Maybe its because she was already in like 2 other groups before this and she's already getting tired of working? I also love the promo video they put up for it, I wish they showed more of the studio stuff more often. It takes you back to the days of the Asayan episodes with 2nd and 3rd gen in the studio with Tsunku, stuff that I wish they showed far more often on all levels.

Don't worry about broken youtube links, the CD has now made its rip known throughout the internet (and that means it's on this website's radio , hint hint).



The song is what I've come to expect from them, if one can really expect anything from a group on only their third release: cute vocals and fun arrangement. Not quite as fun as the last song, but a thousand times more memorable than the first single.



I suppose a Single V will be released since the first two got one, but I haven't seen anything about it.
