Moffat is going to kill me with this storyline. I think he's purposely dragging it out to annoy me because I don't think I've cared so much about a season of a show till now. And spoilers!

I'm sure I could go hunt them down but then when the actual people giving them aren't even sure of their accuracy who do you believe in the end? It's a waiting game, and I hate waiting. MOFFAT!!!!

I love River and can't wait to see what happens when she comes back, whenever that is. Moffat you tease!

and LOLIs Nixon now a companion since he traveled on the TARDIS!? xD

Does anyone here watch Community?

This last episode blew my all-time favorite Community episode (Modern Warfare) out of the water. And to think I was rolling my eyes when they promoted another paintball episode. I want Annie from this episode as my wallpaper.

Yes. I can't wait for the 2nd part next week. I too was rolling my eyes at the idea of another paintball episode, but they really delivered. And Josh Holloway, so dreaaaamy~, ahaha.

I was a little disappointed at 30 rock's finale though. Last week's episode was awesome, this was such a letdown for me.

I'm also watching Glee, it's a hot mess as usual, but I still seem to watch it every week for some reason. Modern Family is losing its luster, Supernatural has its ups and downs but Community still remains amazing to me.

Doing the Troy/Abed chest slap handshake with you, Tsuki. So excited for next week!

Tonight's Doctor Who should be fun. I liked the two-part opener, though I felt like the resolution... well, wasn't much of a resolution. I am hoping that this was on purpose, and that The Silence will be back in the mix sometime later.

I don't think I completely processed that this was the 30 Rock season finale, sort of like how I totally missed Archer's finale being... well, the finale. I smart.

SORT OF OFF TOPIC:

It freaks me out to see Donald Glover as Childish Gambino. As an aside, I want to hate that song because lyrics like that usually rub me the wrong way... but they're actually clever and the song is so good. I don't want to like a rap song about being awesome and wantonly bedding ladies.

He grew up in Stone Mountain, GA. Hi, Donald!

I spoiled myself and looked ahead at who was writing the episodes for this season. There's only 7 episodes this run (Until June 4th). Moffat did the first two this season and he's doing another three. Two of those three wont be out till the second run of the season in September/October. So I can just assume that we'll be hit with one hell of a cliffhanger in June when the 7th episode airs. Oh joy! How I LOVE a cliffhanger. (And knowing Moffat it'll be a big one I'm sure.) But I'm sure he'll be sprinkling his little bits in every episode like he did last season.

I definitely knew since I made the thing, but once I realized finding it was going to take any level of work I opted out. I've got to give in to the American spirit sometime, and I chose that moment. Yay fellow GoT watcher! I'm liking it so far, even if they changed my favorite Daenerys scene from the books.

I was quite pleased to find out several of my coworkers watch GoT too. And hearing their "theories" about what will happen tickles me pink. They can't seem to keep up with the characters though; I'm constantly having to explain who is who.

The books have been reprinted in cheapie paperback versions recently, so they can be had of about 6 bucks each if you're into reading them.

And yeah, the show is amazing. I'm still iffy on some of the casting, but Peter Dinklage is godlike. He better pick up some awards for it.

BUMPING THIS THREAD TO POST HOW GAME OF THRONES WAS AWESOMESAUCE

Kudos to the casting agent. I usually hate child actors, but I loved all the kids in this show. Especially the Joff. What a little shit, I loved each and every scene he did. Brilliant! And Arya gets mad love too. I could have used less sexpositon and more direwolves but eh. Kinda disappointed they left out the "Promise me, Ned" parts. I hoped at the dungeon it would at least get a mention. Oh well. Anyway, dose dragons did not look as bad as I thought they would. Seeing 2012 punched me in the gut.

Don't. Trust. Anyone! :D Old man has a game/agenda of his own he's plotting. It's funny compared to later in the episode when Varys and Littlefinger are stroking each others' egos for being the best schemers in the court. But yeah, just to prove that his feeble old persona is a front.

Well he's got to know she works for Littlefinger considering he owns the brothel she comes from. That was a completely new scene not in the books, so maybe they're going to do a little more with his character in the show.

I'm watching Penguindrum (Or Pingdrum if you want to be weeaboo) anime this summer season.

1. It is by the director of Utena, which therefore means he will come and bring the anime world back to its glory days of awesome and bestow upon us a great OST to boot.

2. It has penguins. Seriously, I am a whore for anything with penguins in it. I hope they make giant life sized plushies for me to buy. It would be so awesome. Oh, and the hat. In fact, just make the merchandise with penguins only and not lame humans and I will take a second job or three to buy it.

Umm... Not really watching much TV otherwise. If I'm bored I'll watch Hoarding or that show about the gypsie/traveler weddings if it's on.

Double posting, whatever we're a small board.

A strange thing happened yesterday. A dude that is a grade AAA Japan hater suggested an anime show to watch. Naturally, I must watch this show that captured the eye of this Japan hater. It was called umm... Rin, something or other made up gibberish I can't be bothered to remember. Anyway, that's not the point. That thing was some softcore BDSM hentai mixed with some plot gibberish. I can't... I can't even... This is why I only watch anime when directors/writers I like do something.

I started watching a couple of korean dramas on hulu too. The one thing I have trouble with is their length. I watch about 1/4 of the episodes and jump to the ending because I'm tired of waiting for resolutions to problems that could be solved in five minutes if everyone just talked like normal people.

I caught some of Wilfred the other day. Cute show. I hope the humor goes into the blacker territory of dark, then it could be really great. Louie is pretty good too, but I'm a big fan of his standup so of course I'd like his show. Too bad I can't remember when those shows air.

Did we have an anime thread at one point? I don't remember. So i'll post what I'm watching here.

Last time I watched anime it was K-On, and that was about it. This year I find myself watching three shows at once. D:

Usagi Drop - It's a sweet anime based on a Manga about a 30 year old guy who adopts his grandfather's 6 year old illegitimate daughter. I love the colors and style it's very watercolor. There's also a live action movie that's being released next month also staring that new child idol super star Mana Ashida. (If you don't know who she is, you need to pull your head out of H!P because the girls everywhere in Japan. D:) Puffy does the opening of the anime, Sweet Drops, which is also used in the live action series. They got a child to voice the girl, Rin, surprised they just didn't use the actors, but whatever not a big deal.

Ikoku Meiro No Croisee - It's about a young Japanese girl who goes to live in late 19th century Paris, France. The story is pretty slow paced and slice of life so it might not be for everyones taste. I'm just along for the animation eye candy of the awesome backgrounds and quality animation depicting late 19th century architecture. Art nouveau being one of my guilty pleasures in life it's nice to see how the Japanese do it. And of course they are adding their own twist on it with a Japanese flair. You have to imagine everyone is speaking French, because they don't try and hide the fact. It was a little awkward in the first episode because it was implied the main character couldn't understand them because she was Japanese and everyone was speaking French when everyone was speaking Japanese. Very confusing. The cultural differences are explored and that's something fun to watch. The anime is done by Satelight which also did Shugo Chara and they did pretty well animating that series as well.

Lastly, Mawaru Penguin Drum! I have NO idea what's going on, but SURVIVAL STRATEGY, Incest, Reverse Transformations, Stalking and above all else, PENGUINS! Kunihiko Ikuhara, knows how to make anime awesome and memorable. Rock Over Japan is one of the great Anime songs of 2011 (Even if it is a cover). And I don't seem to mind the recycled animation used in the Survival Strategy, at least they play around with it each episode.

This is EXACTLY how I feel, and in the end I just end up skipping entire episodes.

Also I recently watched Princess Jellyfish and surprisingly, really liked it. I very rarely give anime my time anymore, so that's a surprise. I've watched more anime this year than the past three combined too, lolol.

And...Yes! S was the best season of Sailor Moon , Utena is amazing , and now he channeled my love of PENGUINS! Seriously, the penguins are my favorite parts of the episodes. They're so cute I squeal. (Well, tbh I squeal with delight everytime I see penguins because I love them so much) He's really great at the timing of the comedy segments in the show including the expressions. The old school "horror" face (kinda reminded me of Oniisama he) that Stalker chick had last episode had me rolling. Since I grew up on DBZ and Sailor Moon the recycled animation doesn't bother me. At least it's one transformation and not 5. Plus the song is good!

Japan is the land of unfinished business and crappy endings. :< Hence the reason why I watch very little anime anymore. Image

Where did you watch Princess Jellyfish? I couldn't find it anywhere. D: (That always seems to happen with shows I want to watch. They either never get subbed or are available at my questionable locations.) Image

Haha, it's subbed on Funimation's youtube channel! PROPER LEGAL ANIME ON INTERBLAGS FOR FREE? NO!

On that note, Petit, you should suggest more not-horrible anime since we have the same taste in everything.
