S/mileage to graduate from H!P eggs and major debut

Tsunku announced at the Shinjin Kouen Yokohama FIRE concert that S/mileage is graduating from H!P eggs at the next Shinjin Kouen concert next Spring (Titled "Mobekimasu!") and debuting majorly. He also apparently announced that Wada Ayaka is going to be leader.



And what may be just as interesting is that they now have an artist page on H!P's website, so it looks like they'll be staying underneath the H!P umbrella and not sail on over to NGP.

It'll be interesting to see how they play out in the big leagues. Tsnku and UFA seem to really be investing a lot in building them up.

I knew it! Well, everyone who knew S/mileage could see it but I feel so happy when I can predict Tsunku. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Specially after their initial was included in the New Year's HaroPuro concert right after Mano's (as in "MoBeKiMaSu").



It makes sense that Dawa is the leader, she's oldest, I think (not that there hasn't been an exception to that rule); I could be wrong, though. And someone seems to be crying that picture. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wub:' />



I'm so happy for them! But I don't think it will work out that well... Does anyone know if Tsunku's post has any useful information? I'm kind of lazy to try to read it. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I just saw him commenting the name of the concert I mentioned above but I don't think he's telling anything new else than it is made of the member's initials. And nothing about Dawa being the leader, it seems.

It's dumb to proclaim it now, but I had a feeling they'd graduate to an actual H!P artist. I'm sure it was a common view among many. They were always so tied into H!P things: joining in the latest concerts, in the concert name as JSp pointed out, in Pucchi Best (even if other non H!P is in there too), still being H!P Eggs even though on NGP, etc. But that whole organizational structure is massively confused. I figured the indies were just being released on TNX while they waited for major debuts.

You don't think their debut will work out? Why not? A large number of people seems to have enjoyed them so far, and Tsunku at least seems to have a clear plan for their genre of music. I don't see them selling poorly (for an H!P artist).

H!P doesn't sell poorly in the slightest.



THE Possible also performed in H!P concerts before they broke off completely to TNX. That's why I was still confused, I guess. Mano Erina wasn't under TNX when she was in the indies either.

Dawa is the oldest at 14 and Ogawa Saki is the youngest at 13, Kanon and Yuuka are both 14.

S/Mileage is the best thing H!P put together since Buono, in my opinion, so i am thrilled to see them getting a major debut. I've loved everything they have put out so far, so if Tsunku keeps giving them good material, they should do well!



Material will have a lot to do with it though. You can have a ton of raw talent but if you get crap songs, you won't do well (C-ute, I'm looking at you. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':weeeh:' /> ). But Tsunku seems to have a lot in store for them, so I have my hopes up!



3 of my favorite eggs are full-fledged members now... That's so encouraging. Too bad they can't swap DAWA out for Yuu though...

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that they did. I was gonna say "I don't think they will sell poorly in relation to any other H!P group" but then I changed it at the last minute because I didn't want someone going "OH YEAH RIGHT THEY AIN'T SELLING LIKE THE BIG GROUPS."

Yeah, but Tsunku has never written her a song. I can't see any non-Tsunku project being in TNX. Anyway, I just meant I figured they were due a major debut very soon, and all signs seemed to point to H!P.

I don't say "won't work out" as in it will flop but it won't like °C-ute hasn't been working out. Well, that is just my opinion (I'm too pessimistic!) and I do love their releases, each one of them so of course I will cheer for them, hoping they will receive really good songs. They have really good members too. Dawa is still a little bit stiff but she'll loosen up!



By the way, I visited natalie.mu as recommended by Special Needs Tricycle and it is Sakitty crying (I was wondering before). I'm not her fan but I can't stop thinking of how cute she is.



The group has good chemistry and all of them have been really well trained. Now they are also going to tour with Mano Erina. Will they get a first album like they did with °C-ute...?

I can't really tell of the song from the low quality other than it's very generic H!P. I like it though. Waay better than aMa no Jaku, but Asu wa Date is their best single out of their indies.

I have nothing but love for Maeda Yuuka. One girl looks like Frankenstein depending on the angle of the shot, but as a whole, they are so cute. Of course, my Buono love gets spread around to anyone affiliated with Shugo Chara, so I'm biased.

It's great that they're getting a major debut so quickly. Now I have to choose my favorite. I've always been torn between Yukarin and Kanyon, but for goods purposes it's necessary to choose one if I want my wallet to survive.



I'm looking forward to how they turn out. I guess Tsunku figured that nowt he Hello Project Kids are all grown up he needs a new group to mold as they grow.
