I'm probably reading this wrong, but it seems like the DVD that comes with Melon's Not Dead will have the PVs for the 5 indies collaborations. I assume these will just be the live videos with track pasted on top that were on dohhhup. But, if so, that means a midori one actually exists!

Goddamn I love Melon Kinenbi. That concert title alone just topped anything I could imagine. Just heard about the upcoming album this week, as I was updating my Hellopro music release list for the first time in over two years. Damned if they're not still the best thing to ever come out of Hello Project. The tenth anniversary of their debut single is coming up next month, which means the group has actually been together for just over ten years. It also means that it's been nearly ten years since the last time I was in Japan. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> A trip, during which, I actually met (and interviewed) Shibata Ayumi for something like fifteen minutes. Too bad I had no idea who the hell she was at the time. This was just before their first single actually came out, one which I didn't actually purchase until early summer of 2000. Back then, even though I was already a Hellopro fan, I didn't have a readily available means by which to watch things like Hello!Morning. At least not until the rental store got them in, which for low-priority stuff like that meant they'd arrive a couple months late. Once I actually realized who she was, and all the more-interesting questions I could have asked her, believe me, I was a tad upset.

Some shocking news, actually not. °C-ute's new album is called Shocking 5. Well, it makes sense for once. Out on February 24th and the sheet says Airi's solo will be in, I wish it were a new song if it was to give her a solo... They say there'll be 11 songs, now I wonder if everyone will get solos of it is gonna be two duos, a solo and a trio? As for the song titles... Nothing I'll look forward to. If anyone is curious (not in the actual order of songs):

By the way, the most unbelievable part of the sheet is that Shigatsu Sengen will have a PV (I hadn't noticed the note bellow the track list before). Just as they did with the last album, JapanFiles will be the North American distributor for Morning Musume's new album. The domestic release date seems to be April 10, three weeks after Japan.

I was kidding, the Eri thing is all based on her BLT shirt (347) supposedly reading as a pun for Sayonara. I really like Guardians 4 & Buono these days, so I can see something horrible like that happening.

True, this. I seem to have the same bad luck, where the girls I love the most in Hellopro seem to either get fired or just get put on the back-burner. Happened with Heike Michiyo and Touda Rinne, of course. Then there's Maeda Yuki, Inaba Atsuko, and really the whole of Elder Club. Not just the actual "old" ones, but even the younger crop that was just lumped in there unfairly. Country Musume, in general, also always got screwed. If anything, I'm lucky that Melon Kinenbi has stayed so strong all this time. They're my all-time favorite Hellopro group, and have been for many years. If this fact still hasn't managed to jinx them, then nothing can.

Ditto! Also the bonus DVD! Well, unless you count how boring °C-ute's PVs are but it is a change at last. And no mention of other solo/shuffle tracks yet? As for the tacks order, I would have put Zansho or Shigatsu Sengen last and not a single everyone has heard before. I don't know about others but, when I listen to album tracks in a store to see if it is worth it, I go for the first and the last ones (and the album title track if it exists).



EDIT: e-hon lists Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu as having another version, "Ｈ２２　Ｒｅｍｉｘ".

Gokujou! Mecha Mote Iinchou (That Ogawa Mana and her Nice Girl Project crew) will be getting an Album and Live DVD.



Album will be released on March 3rd and the Live DVD will be released on February 17th.
