Anyone seen the winter H!P concert?

Held at Nakano Sun Plaza on Jan. 8, 2010.



Is this the big annual H!P Winter concert? The one that was divided up into a three-concert box set in both 2007 and 2008 and two separate shows in 2009? And it's now down to one?



What does Kacho Fugetsu mean and what does Shuffle Date refer to?



The release date, per CDJapan, is March 31, 2010.

Yep, it's the big H!P Winter concert thingy. Only difference this year is that with all the Elder Club gone, they can't have the dual Wonderful Hearts/Elder Club tours that they've previously done. Since all the remaining H!P members are under what would have been considered the "Wonderful Hearts", this year what they did was to have one tour with the "regular" groups (i.e. MM/Berryz/C-ute/Smileage) and to have a second tour with the "shuffled groups" from the recent Champloo cover album (i.e. High-King and all the new incarnations of ZYX/Tanpopo/Pucchi Moni etc). That way, they could still have "separate" tours and give all groups (both the regular and shuffled) adequate stage time.

Okay, so the one I cited is just the "shuffled groups." I just checked on CDJapan and there is another winter concert DVD, called "Hello! Project 2010 WINTER Kachofugetsu -Mobekimasu!-" which I'm assuming is the one with the regular groups, MM, BK, C-ute and S/Mileage. It was taped on Jan. 9, 2010 at Nakano Sunplaza. Its release date is April 14, 2010.

For the record, the non-shuffle concert is called "Hello! Project 2010 WINTER Kacho Fugetsu -Mobekimasu!-"



That's "mobekimasu": MO for "Morning Musume", BE for "Berryz", KI for "C-ute", MA for "Mano Erina", SU for "S/mileage". So that's the concert that involves the normal groups.



Also, I think Kacho Fuhetsu is a sort of pun. I think it's one of those 4 character idioms, and it means "Flower, Birds Breeze, Moon" (apparently symbolically referring to the beauty of nature). But the concert title switches the kanji with "ka" now meaning "song" and "chou" now meaning "super".

I'm sorry, does it make you feel any better that I live in Japan so it's not me being completely insane and flying over constantly, just doing what I have time for. Though my current job being in session on Saturdays can be annoying as that's when a lot of the Fan Club only events are, and some of the concerts.



Trust me, going to this many is both a blessing and a curse. I try to resist, but once you go you have to get goods. And if the concert is super amazing, you have to go again. And then you realize that you're going to be cooking simple stir-fry for the rest of the month because you have no money.

I totally understand, if I lived in Japan I would probably spend all my money on going to anything involving MM not to mention MKB, Hangry and Angry, Ayaya and Nacchi concerts and plays etc. featuring the OGs.



I'm also sure that, although I don't buy much in the way of goods at the moment, if I went to concerts I wouldn't be able to resist a lot of stuff.



The way I see it is there is no point in having an obsession if you don't indulge it <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D/' />.
