MM on Mujack
A 20 minute interview with the girls has popped up on a certain cool tracker and it's probably the single best and most fun interview the girls have done in a couple of years.
Highlights include:
Individual catwalk appeals
Junjun being damn weird
Eri being damn goofy
Sayumi being damn awesome (and her plans for her post-Musume massage parlor)
Reina being damn naughty
Multiple members ganging up on poor Takahashi (Fuck you, Reina! "Achui" is an adorable way of saying "atsui!")
Sayu and Eri seconding what I've always said about Rika- That beneath that adorable exterior lies a bloody psychopath (who is also apparently into ass-paddlings)
Includes bonus non-HP, but adorable as hell co-host.
I highly recommend people to check it out, especially in lieu of their recent Utaban failing.

Agreed. Looks exciting, but if it's something worth actually seeing for a change, I'd like to actually understand everthing and not have 99% of the jokes go over my head.
But I'm excited all the same!

<img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':nosebleed:' /> I can understand Japanese, but jokes and variety shows might as well be in a totally different category as far as comprehension level goes. A lot of them are cultural, so... eh. Subbers usually have a far higher level of understanding the culture than I do. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Re: MM on Mujack
Anytime they have a MM interview they show a timeline of them since 1998 to present.
And we get to see Gaki-san's hair (other than that awful profile pic).

Oh, thank you for the tip, guys! There's so little material from this line-up when compared to OG, which is a pity. I really enjoy them together as group and want to seem more videos showing their chemistry together, while I prefer the OG's individually or at tops in duos or trios. Anyway, thank you! I wonder if anyone will sub it; my case is the same as showraniy's, i also trust those translators more than my understand of Japanese!
Re: MM on Mujack
Thanks Al - I don't check the H!O tracker as often as I should.
Re: MM on Mujack
I couldn't wait until my computer is back in working order, so I made my boyfriend torrent it onto his computer the other day.
It was great to see the current line-up laughing and having so much fun. Their individual appeals were greatly amusing. Sayumi's completely failed because the girl really has no boobs at all, so they're just not something she can appeal with. Though her line of "Well if I keep pushing them out there maybe they'll get bigger." was amusing. Junjun as a "burikko" was both scary and cute. I normally hate when girls act childish for no reason but she did look rather cute doing it. Just don't see anything sexy in it. Linlin's appeal with Chinese was cute, then hilarious when she was asked what she said after and she couldn't remember everything.
It made me laugh that when asked who they had a problem with, most said Ai. Then again Junjun's wasn't actually a problem, just that she wished Ai would allow herself to feel stress and let it out sometimes.
I never would've pictured Rika as up there with Yuko on the "scariest OG" list, but calling individual members out of their dressing rooms to spank them on the ass is pretty harsh. And we thought Yossi was weird after all the things we heard about her on Shabekuri 007.

Actually, I always thought Rika was damn scary. She seems so type A, in every respect!! In some interview once, she admitted having a hard time with Tsuji and Kago because they were too young to really understand proper...etiquette. So she said that she'd actually lecture them and take on a type of "angry mom" role whenever they were acting inappropriately.

The subs were pretty good, there are some mistakes, but they'll do the job for people who don't/didn't understand enough or any Japanese. At least people are releasing them, I guess.
