Awesome, I'm glad she didn't totally fail and drop off the face of the earth like most aspiring models. At least she has a fairly professional looking site dedicated to her rather than just a headshot within a sea of other headshots. That's a decent start. She looks great in these pictures too, probably better than she did while in C-ute.

She actually did it and didn't just use modeling as an excuse to disappear! She looks great! I hope she actually gets somewhere. Her graduation concert and ceremony were amazing. She looked like she really loved what she was doing. ;_; I'm so glad that she's actually doing this and not lying about everything.

WHOA makeup and styling are amazing things. Erika looks great but she also looks like a totally unrecognizable person! I prefer this look on her. Conversely, I like Sayumi's style in MM and disliked how she was made up in a magazine modeling gig.



Given how different many idols look vis-a-vis certain mainstream fashion trends, I wonder if they'd be differently successful if they tried these new looks. Isn't that how Tsuji sort of solidified her post-H!P fame?

Last night I watched the C-ute concert featuring Erika's graduation. I was surprised at what an emotional spectacle it was. Granted, it was the first time I'd seen any of these girls cry--at all--and they ALL cried. And it was the first time I'd seen any of the younger girls graduate, aside from Erina's graduation from Ongaku Gatas.



Even though they put the girls in street clothes for the graduation, after four great costume changes earlier in the show, they really let the goodbyes go on a long time. It was quite moving and touching, actually. Even Airi, whom I see as the most polished and unflappable of this group, shed plenty of tears. Maimi and Maimai were the most emotional. Erika and Kanna were never my favorites in the group, but that's only because the five others were always my favorites, not that I didn't like Erika and Kanna, I just liked the others more. I'm still gonna miss Erika. She was an integral part of H!P Kids in their early years. But I think she's making a good move and I hope she succeeds.

Wow, the graphics on that banner are pretty terrible. Despite the choco-poo all over it. But yay for her having a blog, it'll be nice to be able to see what she's up to.

I really do like the solo-model Erika. She always looked out of place to me in C-ute group shots. She even looks good in that first non-headshot style blog photo (although still heavily make-upped of course)
